FATEH,

JE KO BACHAN KAMAVE SANTAN KA SO GURPARSADI TAREIEH

yes indeed but different singhs who have been called sants have said different things you see.

therefore we should only have full faith in vahiguru, and use gurmat to decided whether what other gursikhs have said are true or not

it is quite obvious that doing 2 sukhmani sahibs a day alone, is not enough to get to sach khand.

According to that bachan, a bujjar kurehiti who does 2 sukhmani sahibs a day can get to sach khand

FATEH,

From www.babanandsinghsahib.org/

That was the grand purpose behind His holy advent. Uniqueness and greatness of the Eternal Glory of Sri Guru Granth Sahib was unveiled in its totality. The precious treasure of Lord's Name was thrown open to all. It was so simple, easily understandable within the grasp and practice of simple village folk. He freely distributed this Dargahi ticket destined for Sach Khand.

Complete recitation of the whole of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in a month or,

Complete 50 paths of Sri Sukhmani Sahib in a month; recite 2 paths of Sri Sukhmani Sahib daily.

Complete 250 paths of Jap Ji Sahib in a month or; recite 10 paths of Jap Ji Sahib daily.

Complete 180 Malas (Rosary Mala of 108 beads) of Mool Mantra (from Ekonkar to Nanak Hosi Bhi Such) in a month or; do six malas daily.

Complete 80 Malas daily of Gur Mantar 'Waheguru'; 20 Malas of Waheguru if the Nam is recited four times on each bead.

Complete 160 Malas daily of Ram (Nam); 40 Malas if Ram is recited four times on each bead

A Mohammedan was advised to practice and recite the name of Allah on each bead as above.

ANYBODY CAN SAY WHATEVER THEY WANT BUT AT END OF THE DAY THE BOTTOM LINE IS IF YOU BELIEVE SANT'S BACHAN OR NOT.

i would rather follow the bachan of sri guru granth sahib jee, where it is made very clear, that attaining sach khand, is not as simple as doing a number of banis, or a certain amount of simran.

you must be japping naam and contemplating maharaaj and gurbani 24 7

just think about it, 2 sukhmani sahibs a day for 30 days and we get to sach khand?

does tht not seem absolutlely crazy to anyone except me?

why 2 sukhmani sahibs? why not 2 asa kee vars?

why 2 a day for a month, why not 4 a day for 2 weeks?

sikhi is NOT like tht.

you do not do xyz amount of bhagti and voila, you get to sach khand.

if this is true, then i will do 2 sukhmani sahibs a day for one month and then i should be brahmgyani right?

because surely i wouldnt have to wait til i die to get to sach khand, i should get there as soon as i have done the sukhmani sahibs?

sach khand is obtainable when you are alive obviously.

baba nand singh was guru nanak dev ji?

are you saying that baba nand singh ji was a guru now?

if sach khand is simply attained by doing 2 sukhmani sahibs a day, whats the need for nitnem, for ishnaan, for amritvela, for all other rehits?

FATEH,

Its not neccessarily true that doing 24/7 naam bani would be the one and only condition for entry to Sachkhand Sahib. Sachkhand Sahib (Gurpuri) is for those who live a gursikhi jeevan all the time ie, their daily lives include nitnem, simran, seva, satsang, rehat maryada, honest living, forever contemplating vaheguru, naam, daan, ishnaan etc etc ........ Whilst living such a gursikhi jeevan if one was to follow Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh's bachan of a certain amount of paath then this guarantees he or she a place. Besides even just doing 84 Japji sahib de paath once at Goindval Baouli Sahib will guarantee a gursikh mukti, normal jagyasuu will get mukti from transmigration (Guru Amardass Sahib Ji Da Bachan) ...........................

Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa once sent five Singh's to go and do 84 Paaths at Baouli Sahib.

Having finished this they were returning to Chowk Mehta and one of the Singh's was thinking in his mind ''can this bachan actually be true'' ........ very shortly he became ill on the way and decided to lye down on the side of the road. Very shortly after this he realised that he was going to die, and soon as he realised this he saw Panj Piare coming from Sachkhand Sahib to collect him. They said because you have done 84 Japji at Baouli Sahib but became doubtfull we have come early to take you to Sachkhand Sahib. The other 4 singh were witness to all this.

Guest baba amarjeet singh

you are making out as if you have to die to enter sach khand

this is incorrect

a gursikhi jeevan and 24 7 naam abyaas with guru jee's kirpa is the only way to attain sach khand

if you already living a gursikhi jeevan then why would doing an extra 2 sukhmani sahibs a day get you to sach khand?

why would 50 extra sukhmani sahibs suddenly boost you to sach khand?

and you said that only along with a gursikhi jeevan with rehit etc, would the 2 sukhmani sahibs work, why wasnt tht mentioned in the bachan?

    • So, are you saying Guru ji isn't God? Or are you saying the British encouraged this belief?
    • Part of the problem is the hostilities between India and Pakistan. If the border were open, Amritsar would easily become a huge trading city. Secondly, the National Highways Authority of India is constructing a new 6-lane expressway from Kashmir, through Amritsar/Jalandhar/Ludhiana to Dehli which will be part of the Ludhiana-Delhi-Kolkatta Industrial Corridor.  Maps of the New Silk Road show Kolkata as a key part of the "road". The Punjab to Kolkata expressway and rail connections will fulfill the ability to hook up to the New Silk Road.  In addition, while crossing to Pakistan via AH1 (Asian Highway 1) is difficult, India does connect to AH1 on the other side, towards the East. Finally, Punjab can trade with the world via Mundra port in Gujurat. Rail to Mundra, then sea onwards. Dubai is very close with a free port. If you send products to Iran, there are ground links onward to Europe.
    • Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. Without the Guru, they know not the essence of the Reality, know not the essence of the Reality. Anand Sahib.
    • You're confusing two different things: One is merely adding starch to a turban to get a certain feel to the fabric. The other is tying your turban once and taking it off like a hat. It is this that people have a problem with. What's wrong with it is that Rehit says to tie your turban afresh every time. If you ask, "Where is that written?", it's written in Bhai Nand Lal ji's Rehitnama. @ipledgeblue didn't just make it up. Umm, no, bro. We're not evangelical Christians like President George W Bush of the US claiming to "talk to God" who told him to invade Iraq. "Speaking to him directly" basically ends up being doing whatever you feel like with the excuse that Guru ji told you to do it. If you still want to take your turban off like a hat, feel free to do so, but don't claim that it's Rehit.
    • You don't need to wear either a pag or dumalla in the gym. You can simply wear a meter or 1.5m small turban (gol pagg or round turban). It doesn't come off.
