This shows that if someone who doesn’t have true naam devotion and engage in other activities are all done through ego. It shows that they are more involved in worldly activities than spiritual activities. Only those that have truly devoted themselves in Naam are recognized true devotees.• The essence of wisdom is to eat less, talk less, and sleep less.

Eating, drinking, laughing and sleeping, life passes uselessly.

• It is vital to live a life of humility by being the dust of everyone’s feet, to live a humble and simple life by giving up ego. We have to show love amongst everyone, no matter how much they hurt or show cruelty to us. However, love has to come within our family first. There is a say; “Charity begins at home”. Meaning: we have to be generous and affectionate to our family FIRST and then outside. When we give up our ego and become completely humble we shall attain union with God. To Get to Saach Khand we need SEVA, SIMRAN, and HUMILITY.

Sri Guru Nanak Sahib gave us two gifts which are NAAM and HUMILTY. Without these we cannot attain union with God.

For instance, to find sugar (the essence of naam) an elephant cannot find it but if we become the lowest of all just as an ant, we will find sugar. Guru Ji says that the door of salvation is as small as a black mustard seed. The mind has become likened to an elephant (ego).
