Should A Bana Be Worn With Bana?or Should It Be Just With Dasstar?

Recommended Posts

it may look different... but little kids look cute with bana even if they do not wear dastar... and some people are amritdharee but do not wear a dastar.but still wear bana.... so its not wrong to wear bana and not a dastaar ( in my opinion)

bhull chuk maaf

the point of wearing bana is to wear the uniform of the khalsa

the uniform of a khalsa includes a dastaar.

a patka has nothing to do with khalsa, it is a modern thing and is not a keski

to be in full bana, a dastaar is compulsory. just like you wouldnt go out with just pyjame and no chola on top.

cuteness has nothing to do with bana

banha with a patka jus looks weird

wear banha with dumalla

chola with patiala shahi pag looks kinda funky too

dumalle and golh dastars are best

:)

i agree with you paaji but thing is when i told my mata jee that i was to wear dastar with bana she fliped and said don't because your going to be going to ''extremes'' as you normaly wear patka on a day to day bases..

i was like hurt but i didn't argue back..but iv always said bana should only be woren with dastar/dhumala but now its like i want to wear my baana(which no1 has a issue with) with a dastar but might have to wear with patka like normal just to please rents..

sorry iv gon off topic..

carry on with ur opinions..

yeah a lot of people speak like this

bana on the inside, or bana of humiltlity and such

i am talkin about bana, as in dress attire, this is what this topic is about. unless you can wear a patka with humility?

full khalsa bana (what you wear/clothes/uniform) includes a dastaar

bana is a rehit, all rehits need to be backed up by baani and naam. rehit and naam/gurbani, go hand in hand

if someone does bani all day but doesnt keep basic rehit of keeping kesh, not eating meat, his kamaee is negated

if someone keeps all sorts of rehit, but doesnt do naam or banee kamaee then the essence of him keeping rehit is lost

What about Bana without Bani?

Reminds me of an e-mail I received 2 years ago.. Sorry for going off-topic but I think sangat should read it.

Baana over Baani
