basically dhass needs some advice.

its about a loved memeber, they are getting hurt but will not tell anyone as they have previously done wrong.before questions are asked no they are not amrithari and yes they are older infact they are in there 30-40's but having been close to them for so many years dhass can not see them in the state they are in and therefore would like some advice on how to try to help them even though dhass is a youngster seeing this person get hurt like this is too painful for dhass's eyes.

p.s. i am not a memeber of this site but as a learning sikh please share your advice without judgment.

Hmm, it kind of helps to know what exactly the problem is because then the best advice can be offered. You said they are getting "hurt". Do you mean like some kind of abuse?

basically they got into a marriage with someone who wasn't sikh, now are hevily drinking, not talking to any of us due to thinking that as family we will disown them.we will not.

they going out getting drunk is not like them, having no money is not like them as they have a amazing educated job.the person they have married seems to be making them be like this but as family we can't say leave your marriage as that would be wrong and as a result could distant them from us even more..

dhass can't bear all this.its really painfull just hearing that someone who you love so much as they have been in your life for ever is secretly getting hurt.
