tir here means lance/spear

tufang is a RIFLE

bado ram jango is a REVOLVER

dhankhdar aniar is bow and barbed arrow

kamandkolraa--not exactly sure, but i think its similar to an akal daan or golaa, im prolly wrong tho

anyways

its maharaj's HUKAM to keep those shaster, and as u can see, guns are included

Well in shastar nammala in the Dasam Granth the toupac or gun is the most referred to weapon. What does that tell us?

Also check this reference to Singhs using bandooks by a Muslim in 1765:

"During battle if these weapons (spear, bow, arrow and battle axe) are exhausted they take out their muskets and enter the field galloping and raising battle cries like roaring lions. Often, they expose their chests by removing the protective covers and allowing their blood to flow and mix with the blood spilled on the earth. You say this musket is the invention of the Sikhs and not that of Sage Luqman (a mythological figure who invented the gun). Although their are many muskets to be had, yet no one is more proficient than them at this art. to the right and to the left, and also in the front and towards the back, they fire a hundred muskets in this manner."

Qazi Noor Mohammad - Jang Nama - 1765.

Extracts from the Dasam Granth:

I salute the arrow and the gun, I salute the lustrous sword, which Is impenetrable and indestructible.

-------------

Then this lowly person (the Guru himself) took up his gun and aimed unerringly at one of the chiefs.

He reeled and fell down on the ground in the battlefield, but even then he thundered in anger.17.

I then threw away the gun and took the arrows in my hand, I shot four of them.

Another three I discharged with my left hand, whether they struck anybody, I do not know. 18.

Then the Lord brought the end of the fight and the enemy was driven out into the river.

----------------------------

O Lord ! Protect us by creating Saang, Sarohi, Saif (Sword), As, Teer (arrow) tupak (gun), Talwaar (sword), and other weapons and armours causing the destruction of the enemies.1.

(Shaster Nam Mala)

--------------

The arrows are being discharged like the vermilion diffused in air and the blood flowing with the blows of the lances seemed like gulal (red colour); th shields have become like tabors and the guns look like the pumps;

The clothes of the warriors filled with blood appear having been saturated with dissolved saffron. The warriors carrying the swords appear carrying the sticks of flowers and playing Holi.

Note: This last quote refers to guns in the modern Panjabi term bandook.
