Questions On Recorders

I'm looking for a good (not too expensive) recorder. Preferably something that can record directly into mp3 or some other format that is good quality while not wasting too much space.

Could sangat please post suggestions on good recording formats as well as good players? thanks.

i would say a iriver

most irivers have line in and encoding and record into mp3... you just need a good microphone

I don't think that iriver works with mac (should have mentioned that)
