Protest is going to have to be rescheduled because no one showed up...

Whilst there may have been some logic to a protest in Southall outside the Gurdwara in Havelock Road.

The same approach outside the Gurdwara in Gravesend seemed strange given the Gurdwara's support for Panthic events. Inviting the media appears to have been a mistake - this should only happen at events where you have a good idea of the turnout/impact. There is always the need for a minimum turnout for such protests.

Suggest everyone either concentrates on a big demonstration outside the Indian High Commission in London on 15 August or if it is thought this is one month away and too long to wait another date could be set, but only if there is a demand and there will not be a poor turnout.

There is an annual protest by Sikhs outside the Indian High Commission, Aldwych, London. The time is usually for about two hours in the afternoon. Will check with the organisers and post the time that has been arranged. Adverts/announcements should also appear in the Panjabi press.
