It is indeed a great shock to learn that Voice of India legend, Ishmeet Singh died last week in the Maldives as he drowned in a swimming pool. Only 19 years old, this Gursikh from Ludhiana became a singing legend when he won the Voice of India championships. When music production companies wanted to sign him on, Ishmeet's first demand was that his first album would be a Shabad Gurbani album. Life is short.

I recalled he was a perfect gentle man when 'harrased' by one of judges in the show.
