there have been enough educated tyrants and idots in this world from the beginning of time who have proven that education can only take one so far.

Too right! All the 9/11 hijackers were pretty well educated too. During my undergraduate days in Oklahoma, I took a speech course where we were supposed to give a speech on a particular topic/personality. One of my classmates was an retired US Air Force officer, who gave his speech on terrorism. Guess how many PhDs Osama Bin Laden has! Not 1, no not 2, THREE!!!! One in economics, thats how he manages his money I think, another in psychology, thats how he brainwashes naive youngsters, and I forgot the third one is in what. So there you go. Its all about where you put your mind. Benevolent individuals make their country and community proud. Tyrants wreck havoc on all of humanity. Education is the common factor for both.
