Kundalini Yoga Classes?

Anyone here done kundalini yoga? know of any classes in the midlands?

It's meant to be good for your health, joints, flexibilty etc. but I've never tried it. Contact Kriya centre (get their no. off google) and ask if they hold classes in your area.

Vampire, I agree that it has no value as a spiritual exercise. It does offer physical benefits though.

Kundalini Yoga’s Relationship with Sikhism

First, Kundalini yoga is a great practice for someone to become physically flexible and healthy. But it should not be linked to or preached as part of Sikhism. The following quote from the Guru Granth Sahib page 1043 explains this point very very well. Some people are even converting to Sikhism after they go to Kundalini Yoga class, a class which is not the way we as Sikhs should want people to convert to our religion.

"ਨਿਉਲੀ ਕਰਮ ਭੁਇਅੰਗਮ ਭਾਠੀ ॥

निउली करम भुइअंगम भाठी ॥

Ni▫ulī karam bẖu▫i▫angam bẖāṯẖī. Inner cleansing techniques, channeling the energy to raise the Kundalini to the Tenth Gate,

ਰੇਚਕ ਕੁੰਭਕ ਪੂਰਕ ਮਨ ਹਾਠੀ ॥

रेचक कु्मभक पूरक मन हाठी ॥

Recẖak kumbẖak pūrak man hāṯẖī.

पाखंड धरमु प्रीति नही हरि सउ गुर सबद महा रसु पाइआ ॥१४॥
