Boat capsized in Punjab, three feared drowned

FEROZEPUR: Three persons were feared drowned when a boat carrying 13 persons capsized Harike Pattan of river Beas near Gurdawara Nanaksar on Monday.

The deceased were followers of Baba Sadhu Singh head of Nanaksar Gurdawara who had passed away on May 15 last. The folowers of Baba had came to immerse ashes at Harike Pattan. They boarded two boats and one of them was overcrowded. When the boats reached in middle of river, one boat tilted due to inbalance. While about ten people were rescued, three have been feared drowned in the river. One of the rescued persons was serious and he is admitted in CMC hospital Ludhiana.Further details are awaited

sant baba sadhu singh ji was a great mahapurkh and went to sachkhand i think at the age of 101 years. they did 10 years of sewa for baba nand singh ji who started nanaksar maryada
