Former Punjab Minister and MLA Bikram Singh Majithia recently came down heavily on All-India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and former Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh for “encouraging” Delhi Akali Dal president Paramjit Singh Sarna to “meddle” in the religious affairs of Sikhs.

Accusing the Congress leaders of extending backdoor support to Sarna, Majithia said the SAD (Badal) would not allow Sarna and the Congress to succeed in their plans to mislead the Sikh community.

Majithia, who is also the patron of the SAD Youth Wing, warned the Congress of dire consequences if it continued to interfere in the Sikh affairs.
