sangat jee i cnt find the topic i need to dload gurmukhi font so i can type it into word i had it before was simple dowload but coz i got a new lappy im abit lost coz wat i download off net it doesnt let me use the font im looking for i asked this same question for my new but now old computer but i cnt find the topic can someone help me please ?

You can download gurmukhi fonts from http://www.sikhnet.com/Gurmukhi-Fonts . Place all the downloaded fonts in your C:\windows\fonts directory and you are good to go.

But (sorry bout the but)...... But do u, or anyone have the font where u type in the letter a and a kunna comes up or when u type b bubbha comes up i kinda got used to that

Ok Veerjeo, i am not sure if this will work with windows 7 (it most probably will) but anyway give this a try:

Have a read: http://fateh.sikhnet.../PunjabiUnicode

and

Go to http://guca.sourcefo...eyboardlayouts/ and download the phonetic layout. It is most probably the layout you are after.

WOW this font is amazing! I've just had so much fun in the past hour playing with this on word :D it was a bit tricky working out the keys but i think ive got it now yay! I'm so impressed with it!

.........i've only just started learning to read and write punjbai but now i can finally write stuff in punjabi without having to worry whether people will be able to decipher my handwriting or not.
