TuhiNirankar...thank you soo much for your reply..

Dhass was awaiting such a explanation..

To the penji/bhaji who said about pesh..why would dhass have to go pesh? It's not like dhass has committed one of the five evils..if dhass is wrong please correct dhass

Vaheguru jee

bhenji, (im also a bhenji) you need to go pesh because as the person above has said, by cutting yourself you have dishonoured the kesh on your body. the palms of our hands and the soles of our feet are the only areas on our sareer which dont have kesh. so cutting yourself means cutting your kesh which is a bajjar kurehit..

also, if you dont agree with the above, you need guidance and help from the panj. you have seriously damaged yourself and have inflicted great pain upon your body. for this reason, you need their help..they can help you by giving you extra baani and re-administering amrit.

good luck x

No penji you do not have to go pesh because you cut the hair on you're body that is absolutely ridiculous!

You have to apologise to guru ji for harming this beautiful body he has given to you. Guru Nanak dev ji describes this body of ours as a temple in which god resides.

You sinned by harming your beautiful gift which you spend 8.4 million lifetimes waiting to be blessed with.

Apologise and swear to guruji that you will never do it again and you will be forgiven.

If you do it again you won't be as mistakes as bad as these repeated over and over again are recorded and bought up when we die and go to Gods court.

because there's kes on your body which is damaged/removed whilst self-harming, plus you could probably use any additional advice from the panj pyare while you're there.

if some hairs comes off body, like for instance playing a sport, ie kabaddi, then should an amritdhari should go pesh?

no because that wasn't intentionally removing kesh. its like wearing clothes..some kesh are bound to rub off whilst you're wearing clothes, does that mean you should walk around naked? no because your intention was not to remove any number of kesh.

the topic starter should have known that cutting yourself means cutting your kesh. and you may argue that it was not intentional, but cutting yourself isnt exactly a normal everyday activity.

so peshi is required.

sorry to the bhenji who posted oroiginally, this is probably not helping. sorry.

That is a type of question u should ask a Parcharak or Giani,

I usually get more confused when i ask a question like that and get manmat answers,
