Awaken soul, i originally spelt Australia the way you did but then googled ant it showed a sign which had the spelling i posted.

I also agree with the spelling of your Tarneit but it depends on the way it is pronounced. I never actually heard it. If it it T as in Tomato then you are right, if its T as in Teen Taal then I am right.

There are no right or wrong, correct spellings of english words into punjabi or amy other lamguage is impossible due too different alphabets.26 in roman and alot more in gurmukhi. There are only widely accepted norms. Like Amritsar used to also be spelt Umritsar pronounced in punjabi its hard to say which way is right it depends how you say ahrah second letter in gurmukhi alphabet. Ahh or Aumh. Most say aumh rith sarh so the U spelling is more feasable as its not aah mirt sarh. Ill elaborate more if needed but typing on my fone and have fat fingers. Basically no way is correct when spelling from one alphabet to another. Only the accepted or popular spellings are used.
