£5000 Akhand Path Sahib

Sangat JI I inquired about having an Akhand Path Sahib at Gravesend Gurdwara. I approached one comittee member who informed me that it will cost £5000.00 Personally I believe this to be beyond my means.

Can someone clarify this or have I been misguided?

Just get it done some place else, bear in mind they have to buy food for langar, pay the granthis, and we're meant to give something in exchange anyway - whatever you can afford.
