I asked a mahapursh about my health, they advised to do seva at gurdwara as my health is not well. But I am physically unable to do it, and for the amount of time they said, neither am i able to go to gurdwara by myslf. I tried one day but there wasnt any seva that i could do because of my weakness.

If a mahapursh advises somthing and one is unable to do as they said what should one do?

I know everything is in the hands of god, then thought if waheguruji wanted me to do the seva then would have made it possible. But now i think about it, why is it so hard to do somthing a mahapursh suggests, and I worry about it sometimes, if i cant do what they say then how will I be cleaning may karms? Feels like a deadend situation. What else can i do?

Do more Naam Bani at home, whoever the Gurmukh Singh you spoke to is, they are not the Guru and thus cannot be expected to be aware of your situation fully, so whilst what they state should be guidelines to follow, they are not Hukams in the same way that Guru Sahib gives us Hukams. By the way what is wrong with your health

Ashtapadee: Where there is no mother, father, children, friends or siblings - O my mind, there, only the Naam, the Name of the Lord, shall be with you as your help and support. Where the great and terrible Messenger of Death shall try to crush you, there, only the Naam shall go along with you. Where the obstacles are so very heavy, the Name of the Lord shall rescue you in an instant. By performing countless religious rituals, you shall not be saved. The Name of the Lord washes off millions of sins. As Gurmukh, chant the Naam, O my mind. O Nanak, you shall obtain countless joys. ||1||

ਜਹ = ਜਿਥੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵਿਚ)। ਸਤੁ = ਪੁੱਤ੍ਰ। ਮਨ = ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਊਹਾ = ਓਥੇ। ਮਹਾ = ਵੱਡਾ। ਭਇਆਨ = ਭਿਆਨਕ, ਡਰਾਉਣਾ। ਦੂਤ ਜਮ = ਜਮਦੂਤ। ਦੂਤ ਜਮ ਦਲੈ = ਜਮਦੂਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਲ। ਤਹ = ਓਥੇ। ਕੇਵਲ = ਸਿਰਫ਼। ਖਿਨ ਮਾਹਿ = ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ, ਅੱਖ ਦੇ ਫੋਰ ਵਿਚ। ਉਧਾਰੀ = ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਨਿਕ = ਅਨੇਕ, ਬਹੁਤ। ਪੁਨਹ ਚਰਨ {skt. पुनः आचरण। ਆਚਰਨ = ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਰਸਮ} ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਕੋਈ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਰਸਮਾਂ (ਕਰਨੀਆਂ)। ਕੋ = ਕਾ, ਦਾ। ਕੋਟਿ = ਕਰੋੜ। ਪਰਹਰੈ = ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ।੧।

ਜਿਥੇ ਮਾਂ, ਪਿਉ, ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ, ਭਰਾ ਕੋਈ (ਸਾਥੀ) ਨਹੀਂ (ਬਣਦਾ), ਓਥੇ ਹੇ ਮਨ! (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਹੈਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ (ਹੈ)। ਜਿਥੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਡਰਾਉਣੇ ਜਮਦੂਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਲ ਹੈ, ਓਥੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਥੇ ਬੜੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਓਥੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅੱਖ ਦੇ ਫੋਰ ਵਿਚ ਬਚਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਰਸਮਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਭੀ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਦਾ, (ਪਰ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਤਾਂ ਤੇ) ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਣ ਪੈ ਕੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ) ਨਾਮ ਜਪ; ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਬੜੇ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਹਿਂਗਾ।੧।

No Seva is bigger than Naam Jap.

Doing that, negative effect of past bad karmas (either yours or family) will get erased.

Then life will get better and you can do Seva at Gurudwara.

thank you guestji, for that, also been advised to do shabad but find that hard to do continuosly too.

I will read all ur reply later as will understand it properly when i read it slowly.

Seva is not confined to gurudwara. Baba Kanhaiya served humanity on the battlefield. You can do small acts that you feel are physically suitable for you. It can be cleaning your street, assisting one person who needs assistance, contributing ideas and energy for the greater good online etc.

Do ardas to be able to carry out what you have been instructed to do. Also, have you been given an instruction as to how much seva to do/ how long to do seva? Or a particular type of seva? If not I would say go to the gurdwara sahib and even do seva of one jora (pair of shoes) or clean or dry even one panda (dish) or cup. You could take a cloth and even clear dust from a window sill. That is still doing seva, maybe if you did ardas before this and you kept doing even this minimum with sharda guru ji would bless you to be able to do more, maybe.

Not been told a particular seva or how long for but am able to stick to a routine as weakness come on unpredictably. I will try to see if i can do wat gupt has mentioned, as i am able to assist anybody else as i rely on assistance too. but i will see if trying somthig small maybe an option.
