He is a famous human rights activist working with the Punjab issues for the past 15 or so years.

I believe he is safe in India now, as everyone knows of him and if something happens to him....there would be major outbreak. But then agains...they did "lift" Jaswant Singh Khalra who orginally documented theses crimes....so who knows.
