Plz shed some light on this? Can somebody explain me the deeper meaning. I dont get it from english translation. I hope u understand sangat jee

muslims are buried when they die. gravestones were origionally made from clay, this clay grave stone needed to be changed quite often, as it could wither away/break. clay was a very expensive, so it was recycled alot.

Pots and bricks are fashioned from it, and it cries out as it burns.

everything thats a natural resource was once living. even stones (i think). clay is moulded into different shapes. in doing so, it suffers.

its talking a bit about the death of the manmukh. we will suffer, we will burn and cry as coal will be put onto us for our deeds. in the same way this piece of clay had a past life as well, it did bad, and as a result its suffering. everything around us is made up of atoms, its science. these a

toms are suffering. these particles are being made to evaporate, hence the reason of why there is pain.

only maharaj knows what is going through the minds of his creation. hence he is telling you even clay is a part of chaurasi (as every natural source was living).

i dont think islam is being critisized here, its just giving an example of how clay was used in India during maharaj's days.

Here is a famous event associated with the above tuks

Aurangzeb accused Gur Sahib for helping DaraShikoah (Aurangzeb's brother but arch-enemy) and sought his appearance in Delhi. Instead, Gur Sahib sent his eldest son, Ram Rai, to Delhi. Ram Rai was well received by Aurangzeb. He not only satisfactorily responsed to all charges but also impressed Aurangzeb with his cleverness. As a result, Ram Rai was asked to stay on as a state guest for some period. One day, Aurangzeb questioned (under influence from others), why Sri Guru Nanak had criticized Islam in salok "Mitti Musalman Ki"? Ram Rai satisfied the assembled muslims by saying that the actual writing is "Mitti Baimaan Ki" and not "musalman ki".

Though Ram Rai was well-blessed with all powers and strictly instructed only to explain Guru's position, he choose to change Sri Guru Nanak's writings and further performed miracles for Aurangzeb's pleasures. When Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib heard of this incident, he forbid Ram Rai from ever returning home.
