Waheguru ji took care

Waheguru ji is taking care

Waheguru ji shall take care

ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਜੋ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੁ ॥

Āḏ anṯ jo rākẖanhār.

From beginning to end, He is our Protector,

ਤਿਸ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਨ ਕਰੈ ਗਵਾਰੁ ॥

Ŧis si▫o parīṯ na karai gavār.

and yet, the ignorant do not give their love to Him.

ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥

Jā kī sevā nav niḏẖ pāvai.

Serving Him, the nine treasures are obtained,

ਤਾ ਸਿਉ ਮੂੜਾ ਮਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਲਾਵੈ ॥

Ŧā si▫o mūṛā man nahī lāvai.

and yet, the foolish do not link their minds with Him.

ਜੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਸਦ ਸਦਾ ਹਜੂਰੇ ॥

Jo ṯẖākur saḏ saḏā hajūre.

Our Lord and Master is Ever-present, forever and ever,

ਤਾ ਕਉ ਅੰਧਾ ਜਾਨਤ ਦੂਰੇ ॥

Ŧā ka▫o anḏẖā jānaṯ ḏūre.

and yet, the spiritually blind believe that He is far away.

ਜਾ ਕੀ ਟਹਲ ਪਾਵੈ ਦਰਗਹ ਮਾਨੁ ॥

Jā kī tahal pāvai ḏargėh mān.

In His service, one obtains honor in the Court of the Lord,

ਤਿਸਹਿ ਬਿਸਾਰੈ ਮੁਗਧੁ ਅਜਾਨੁ ॥

Ŧisėh bisārai mugaḏẖ ajān.

and yet, the ignorant fool forgets Him.

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਇਹੁ ਭੂਲਨਹਾਰੁ ॥

Saḏā saḏā ih bẖūlanhār.

Forever and ever, this person makes mistakes;

ਨਾਨਕ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥੩॥

Nānak rākẖanhār apār. ||3||

O Nanak, the Infinite Lord is our Saving Grace. ||3||

ਬਿਹਾਗੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਛੰਤ ॥ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਬੇਨੰਤੀਆ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ ਕੋਟਿ ਅਪ੍ਰਾਧ ਭਰੇ ਭੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਚੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ ਦੁਖ ਹਰਨ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਨ ਮੋਹਨ ਕਲਿ ਕਲੇਸਹ ਭੰਜਨਾ ॥ ਸਰਨਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਰਬ ਮੈ ਨਿਰੰਜਨਾ ॥ ਸੁਨਤ ਪੇਖਤ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਭ ਕੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨੇਰਹੂ ਤੇ ਨੇਰੇ ॥ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਨਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਰਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਘਰ ਕੇ ਚੇਰੇ ॥੧॥

Bihāgaṛā mėhlā 5 cẖẖanṯ. Sunhu bananṯī▫ā su▫āmī mere rām. Kot aprāḏẖ bẖare bẖī ṯere cẖere rām. Ḏukẖ haran kirpā karan mohan kal kalesėh bẖanjnā. Saran ṯerī rakẖ leho merī sarab mai niranjanā. Sunaṯ pekẖaṯ sang sabẖ kai parabẖ nerhū ṯe nere. Arḏās Nānak sun su▫āmī rakẖ leho gẖar ke cẖere. ||1||

Bihaagraa, Fifth Mehl, Chhant: Listen to my prayer, O my Lord and Master. I am filled with millions of sins, but still, I am Your slave. O Destroyer of pain, Bestower of Mercy, Fascinating Lord, Destroyer of sorrow and strife, I have come to Your Sanctuary; please preserve my honor. You are all-pervading, O Immaculate Lord. He hears and beholds all; God is with us, the nearest of the near. O Lord and Master, hear Nanak's prayer; please save the servants of Your household. ||1||

ਕੋਟਿ = ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ। ਚੇਰੇ = ਸੇਵਕ। ਮੋਹਨ = ਹੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੱਚ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਕਲਿ = ਝਗੜੇ। ਭੰਜਨਾ = ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ। ਸਰਬ ਮੈ = ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ! ਨਿਰੰਜਨਾ = ਹੇ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ! ਪ੍ਰਭ = ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!।੧।

ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ। (ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ) ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਬੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਭੀ ਤੇਰੇ (ਦਰ ਦੇ) ਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ। ਹੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਮੋਹਨ! ਹੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ! ਹੇ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖ ਲੈ। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੱਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਰਦਾਸਾਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖ ਲੈ।੧।
