A santh sed to hari singh to make sure you get this amrith sanchaar done on time.

Hari singh was in charge of the amrith sanchaar making sure people had done their specific duty.

When amrith sanchaar people came in a kuthaa came in too.

They all tried to get the kuthaa out, about 300 people. They could not do it.

Hari singh said to them as a joke, you are all supposed to be lions, how could you not get one kuthaa out?

So they tried some more but to no avail.

Then a singh named jagjit singh tried to get him out, hari singh said leave it, but jagjit singh wasn’t going to stop, the kutha realised that he’s going to catch me under any circumstances. So the kuthaa ran and sat under the manjee sahib.

Jagjit singh was going to get him but hari singh stopped him and said that beadhbee by the kuthaa has already been done, we can’t do any more by pulling him from maharaaj’s sharan, because then we will get the paap.

So hari singh went to the kuthaa and showed him a lot of pyaar to try and get him out, the kuthaa looked into his eyes and must have realised it was an honest man, so the kuthaa came out and followed hari singh towards the door. At this point hari singh felt the ego of managing to get the kuthaa out when 300 other people couldn’t. Mahaaraaj then reacted to hari singh’s feelings of ego by making the kuthaa jump back and run away from the door, this broke hari singhs ego.

They then decided to carry on with the amrith sanchaar and the kuthaa seemed to have disappeared, when hari singh noticed that the kuthaa was sitting so unbelievably quietly in the corner. When the singhs asked the sangath if anybody hasn’t taken amrith and wishes to have choolaa then come up now, nobody came, but to the sangath’s amazement the kuthaa came and sat right where each person sat to get amrith, with his tongue out.

The singhs were shocked. Then hari singh did ardaas to guroo jee that the kuthaa is asking for amrith but they cannot break marayadha by giving a kuthaa amrith. When the kuthaa realised they were not going to give it, he saw that there were drops of amrith that had fallen on the floor, which he started to lick as he knew the singhs could not do anything about that.

The singhs were stunned about what had just happened, so they went back to santh jee and asked them why this happened. And santh jee said ‘i believe that the kuthaa was a human in his last life, he always listened to the fact that a person should take amrith, but he never did, and his dying thoughts must have been the regret of not taking amrith, and now he is a kuthaa, so i guess his next life will be a human where he will get the chance of getting the daath of amrith because that is the grace of guroo jee.
