I just watched a few minuts ago a small docu about the Bulp Bottle. It's about bringing light in the house without electricity.

It just works in day light but still a usefull thing which safes money. The bottle gives a light like a 50 watt bulp. They said it will work 2 years.

- Tools...

U can easily install it in villages or on farms. Also a gud thing is in slums where the houses are very close to each other.

Seems like a great idea...BUT...the system in India will defeat it. Just like it defeats the argument for solar panels. You see.....electricity bills in Punjab depend not on how much electricity you use but how manhy switches and sockets you have in the home. Naturally, every house has got to have sockets and switches. Without a socket and switch you'd have nothing for your generator or solar panel to fall back on or kick in. Punjab electricity has got the people grabbed by the goolies and they're squeezing hard. They don't care if people use these new eco bulbs or not. they've still got their sockets and switches and so will still be charged....regardless of whether or not they use punjab electricity boards electricity.
