Since when do we worship photos? Not like it has gurbani on it. If you call this be-adbi then what do you call 1984?

believe it or not, many people do. thats like saying throwing a picture of sri guru granth sahib jee is not beadbi. if these pictures have no meaning then why do people hang them on their walls at their homes and gurdwaray. and its not trying to be too hardcore....there should still be some level of respect that you should be able to keep.

At our gurudwara, we only hang them before a program. However, when a program starts, the photos are taken off the wall.

Recent media reports about the United States Postal Service (USPS) issuing

a commemorative Sikh stamp with a photo of Harmandar Sahib (commonly

referred to as Golden Temple) may be misleading.

The WSC-AR has communicated with USPS and was informed by a representative

on September 3, 2004 via e-mail that the stamp was not created or issued by

USPS. The stamp was not reviewed, authorized, issued, or released by USPS.

It will not be available for sale at any US post office.

The USPS has further communicated that the stamp has been issued by a

private company outside of the USPS. This is a private stamp that was

produced by www.photo.stamps.com at the request of Golden Temple Credit

Corporation.

Although the private stamp can be used for postage within the US, it is not

issued by USPS.

WSC-AR is a representative and elected body of Sikh Gurdwaras and
