these singhs are only striking at the surface of the problem, if those people still want to do that they will just find another place to do it. Sikhs need to be more shrewd and look towards long term goals rather than short term fixes.

In my village we have a similair problem, but we sorted it greatly by just paying a parcharak to do katha at the gurdwara every day for some weeks. the sangat was only in single figures for the first week but by the end of the month ther diwan was full, and people were really picking up on gurmat and realising that the practices they were doing before were just futile.

smashing that samadh up is not a good thing, they just need to relax and start doing parchar in the gurdwaras and pulling sikhs away from that pir rubbish.
