After Kris Hopkins Mp Conservative, brought up grooming by Pakistani men, in parliment yesterday, it has brought up controversy too.

I say well done to Kris Hopkins for tackling this in parliment where its needed.

Anne Cyer who was on the shows at the start, typical labour sticks ups for Pakistanis and calls them asian.

If only people woke up to what Shere Punjab Birmingham said in the 1980s. (mr bush below one the top men in sp when he was in his very early 20s)

The Independent, June 24 1989, Saturday

Sikh girls 'used as sex slaves'

GANGS OF Muslim men toured daytime discotheques kidnapping Sikh girls to use as sex slaves, a court was told yesterday.

The jury at the trial of 13 Sikh men at Birmingham Crown Court heard claims that one gang forced girls into prostitution and blackmailed their parents.

The Sikhs were said to be members of the Shere Punjab, a vigilante gang, who were arrested - armed with sticks and bottles - while on their way to confront the rival Muslim gang, the Aston Panthers, in Handsworth, Birmingham, last June.

Gurmek Singh Chahal, 20, told the court the Panthers used Indian girls for sex and prostitution. 'The Shere Punjab was formed to stop the intimidation of our society by the Muslim society.'

Chahal and two other men were each given a two-year conditional discharge for using threatening behaviour. Similar sentences had earlier been passed on eight others who had pleaded guilty. Another two were cleared.

More media attention needs to be place on this issue if there is to be any chance of protecting vulnerable young women of all ethnicities and religions. Raising it in parliament was a brave first step and respect to the honorable mp for taking it.

well said, the taboo has been broken by media, mps, police however are very reluctent. Police know the score as they are the front line, but cant say much.

Labour however put a blanket over it, their Shadow Justice Secretary is a Pakistani, plus Labour depend on the Pakistani vote allot.

The problem is that Sikhs think that the uk whites and the govt are on our side. They are not. The message from their media, masses and ministers is that this kind of thing is not going to be tolerated against white girls. When Paks attack other Asian girls, this is allowed. In the news article from 1989 above, the police are even helping the muslims.

At the the end of the day the English couldnt care less. Forget WW1 or WW2 or all the taxes we paid when they stole our country or how they screwed us over in Partition. They dont care. They just care about themselves. Rather than a friend, the UK is like a weird old man who constantly calls on any useful young boy (Sikhs) to help him but when he sees the Sikhs take a kicking or in trouble, he chuckles to himself and looks the other way. If his own kids are in trouble, he screams, wails and does everything in his power to protect his darling little chavs (got to keep the plebs happy so they dont see how shafted they are by their own elites).

If Sikhs cant respect ourselves then we cant really expect others to, especially predatory non-Asian/Abrahamic races.

BTW Hammertime, the Tories also have a lot of Paks. The Punjabi Muslims and English have always had a good relationship, going back to when they screwed us over in the Second Anglo-Sikh War and Partition.

Disagree i have family members who were at this court case. The police werent helping the pakis, the pakis were in court to, and locked up in Wison Green with Sp, different parts of the prison of course. The pakis approached sp after the court case and said "lets join up and take brum" SP said no thanks (cant trust them).

Police in 1989 thought this was just Sikh- Paki troubles, words like "grooming" "agressive conversions" were not about then.

I see no point in going about ww1 and British rule of india, we should welcome they are exposing this issue. The problem i have been recentlty been told by a Singh who has been here since 1964, said girls running away with sullar was going on in the early 70s. Yet we put a lid on conversion and grooming.

The more people who support the highliting of this issue the better mp, police sikh, journlist, the public, we need everyone.

Back then we were all brown to them. Now they seem to be on our cases a lot more than the <banned word filter activated>.

I have no problem with increased awareness. But I know how people's minds work. Sikh girls think that muslim men who want to convert them look like Bin Laden or a fat fundo. In reality the converters are flash pretty boys who are struggling with reconciling their fun loving western lifestyle with the dour religous junk they are brainwashed with at home. Taking this out on non-muslim girls and converting them lets them feel they are doing the right thing. Sikh girls who fall for these types dont have the sense to see it. These girls think that whatever their friends/family say is rubbish but hang on any word muttered by non-sikh predatory men.

If SIkhs raised girls with a bit more self-confidence and self respect, as well as steering clear of muslim population centres we could really put a dent in this problem. But waiting for whitey to come to our aid wont work. The english are quite easily the worst allies the Khalsa has ever had. By deliberately being obtuse and throwing us the odd bone, they expect us to be loyal to the grave. Yet when we are in trouble, they do nothing. Like you said, grooming has been going on since the 70s. In the 80s, Kaleh in Birmingham also used to target Sikh girls so they could pimp them out. The police always said it was up to the girls what they did. Now when white girls get pimped, it's suddenly time to get the knives out for the mulls and blacks. Go figure.

    • was researching this and came back to this thread. Also found an older thread:
    • Net pay after taxes. If you don't agree, think about this: If you were a trader and started off in China with silk that cost 100 rupees and came to India, and you had to pay total 800 rupees taxes at every small kingdom along the way, and then sold your goods for 1000 rupees, you'd have 100 rupees left, right? If your daswandh is on the gross, that's 100 rupees, meaning you have nothing left. Obviously, you owe only 10% of 100, not 10% of 1000. No, it's 10% before bills and other expenses. These expenses are not your expenses to earn money. They are consumption. If you are a business owner, you take out all expenses, including rent, shop electricity, cost of goods sold, advertising, and government taxes. Whatever is left is your profit and you owe 10% of that.  If you are an employee, you are also entitled to deduct the cost of earning money. That would be government taxes. Everything else is consumption.
    • No, bro, it's simply not true that no one talks about Simran. Where did you hear that? Swingdon? The entire Sikh world talks about doing Simran, whether it's Maskeen ji, Giani Pinderpal Singh, Giani Kulwant Singh Jawaddi, or Sants. So what are you talking about? Agreed. Agreed. Well, if every bani were exactly the same, then why would Guru ji even write anything after writing Japji Sahib? We should all enjoy all the banis. No, Gurbani tells you to do Simran, but it's not just "the manual". Gurbani itself also has cleansing powers. I'm not saying not to do Simran. Do it. But Gurbani is not merely "the manual". Reading and singing Gurbani is spiritually helpful: ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਭਾਖਿਆ ॥  ਗਾਵਹੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਪੜਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੈ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਿਆ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The Lord's Bani and the words are the best utterances. Ever sing hear and recite them, O brother and the Perfect Guru shall save thee. Pause. p611 Here Guru ji shows the importance of both Bani and Naam: ਆਇਓ ਸੁਨਨ ਪੜਨ ਕਉ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਲਗਹਿ ਅਨ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The mortal has come to hear and utter Bani. Forgetting the Name thou attached thyself to other desires. Vain is thy life, O mortal. Pause. p1219 Are there any house manuals that say to read and sing the house manual?
    • All of these are suppositions, bro. Linguists know that, generally, all the social classes of a physical area speak the same language, though some classes may use more advanced vocabulary. I'm talking about the syntax. That is, unless the King is an invader, which Porus was not. When you say Punjabi wasn't very evolved, what do you mean? The syntax must have been roughly the same. As for vocabulary, do you really think Punjabis at the time did nothing more than grunt to express their thoughts? That they had no shades of meaning? Such as hot/cold, red/yellow/blue, angry/sweet/loving/sad, etc? Why must we always have an inferiority complex?
    • I still think about that incident now and then, just haven't heard any developments regarding what happened, just like so many other things that have happened in Panjab!
