Which way do you vote?

I was wondering which way do y'all vote. This is open to all ages even though elections would not be.

Personally i'm a swing voter but everyone else in my familly votes for socialist parties

Would be interested in your views on the different political parties in your native countries also- do you think they care about the sikh vote?

im goin lib dem. I dont like conservitive especially now wich thachers old chum.

I dont mind tony but dont like the others at the front bench, just dnt trust em, especially gordon brown as I dont think they will be good for sikhs in UK.

Lib Dem seem to be listening to Sikhs, well almost, prob better then the other so, yeh

in the uk since labour abandoned its traditional socialist roots and became 'new labour' i've seen a LOT of sikhs leave the party to support the lib dems

what has tony blair or the cabinet done for the sikhs apart from the odd letter on vaisakhi or around election time?

i think that the liberals make more sens economically, and would serve sikhs better as they tend to be more open minded to different cultures/religions. as far as ethics go no party, even sikhs, will uphold sikhi to the nth degree

Aussie politics......if you had a choice would you go for Howard, Latham, Independents, Pauline Hanson or sit under a coolibah tree camped by a billabong?????? :lol: Looking forward to hear your answers. No worries if you are too young.....the whole thing is non-binding anyway.

here's my views :

Liberals (aka democratic or kerry)

Pro : Nature friendly, Immigration supporter, no discrimination on lifestyle aka gay community, No strict punishment, No to arms, Works for low class families.

Con : Not religious minded ppls, Gayism is against sikhi, Immigration is good but outsourcing is NOT, Only trying to reach black or hispanic origin ppls: if indians mentioned it will be pro-bjp ppls; since they control and lobby the support !

Conservative (aka republican)

Pro : Not strong immigration supporter, do not support gay comm., strict law, Gives high preference to family life, Supports "Right to bear Arms" & Works for high class families.

Con : Strict immigration (for our bros/sis to back down in punjab), Not nature friendly, WAY TOO much PATRIOTISM.

So far.. i think sikhs need to hang in in-between republican and democratic !! Either way one can take advantages !! SO keep your mind open !!
