Gulshan Radio launches for Vaisakhi in Wolverhampton 2013

A new Punjabi station is set for launch to coincide with the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi.

Gulshan Radio has been awarded a Restricted Service Licence (RSL) by Ofcom. It will allow the station to run from Tuesday 9th April up until Monday 6th May. It will be available on 87.9FM across the Wolverhampton area.

Gulshan Radio will broadcast from Guru Nanak Satsang Gurdwara, Cannock Road Wolverhampton.

Gulshan Radio is supported by the Sikh Gurdwara Council, Wolverhampton and the management of Guru Nanak Satsang Gurdwara.

Gulshan Radio has been set up by the popular radio and TV broadcaster Gulshan Dhingra – formerly of Sanjhi Awaz Radio and Sunrise Radio.
