Skill Requirements

Conduct religious services such as reciting the Bani, Mahraj Parkash, Shri Akhand Path, Shri Sukhmani Sahib Path, Hukam Nama, Nitnem, perform Ardass (prayer), Kirtan in the morning and evening. Administer rites of faith such as marriages and funerals. Oversee year festive calendar and special events such as Gurpurbs and other functions like Sangrand and serving the Langar. Carry out duties in the kitchen such as preparing the Langar. Provide spiritual and moral guidance to members of the Sikh faith. Supervise, plan and administer programs of religious education.

Language: Reading and writing in Punjabi and English.
