HASSANPUR, Haryana (February 1, 2015)The hunger strike of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is getting a massive response from the Sikh nation. A large number of Sikh personalities are continuously visiting Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa to support his struggle.

Famous Human Rights activist Justice Ajit Singh Bains also visited Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa in appreciation of his initiative. He said that the illegal detention of Sikh freedom fighters is a symbol of the enslaved condition of Sikhs in India. While elaborating on the historical contribution of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa to the Sikh struggle, he depicted the old snap of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa when he was arrested by armed forces at Sri Harmandir Sahib and his hands were tied with his turban.

Bhai Tarlok Singh Dalla of Shiromani Akali Dal, Bhai Pritam Singh Kaonke, Bhai Harbans Singh Kaonke, Bhai Parvari Singh Dalla, Bhai Parminder Singh, Bhai Surinder Singh, Bhai Mohinder Singh, Bhai Harpal Singh, Bhai Navdeep Singh, Bhai Balbir Singh, Bhai Jagtar Singh Dhaliwal, Bhai Jaswant Singh etc. were the prominent political personalities among the massive count of Sikh devotees who visited Bhai Surat Singh Khalsa to express their support.
