Alcohol in products

Wjkk wjkf, I just wanted to know what are your guys thoughts on large amount of products having alcohol in them like toothe pastes, to facial clears to body sprays and moisturizers, should a Sikh use them in their everyday life?

it's unnecessary so save yourself the headache by trusting nothing anymore and just use natural ingredients i.e. woodbrushes, ghee, oils e.g. mustard, almond etc.

Just because it is alcohol does not mean it is the kind people get drunk on. As far as I know you can name a product alcohol as long as it has the chemicals Carbon Hydrogen and Oxygen bonded in it. What is in cleaners is made to kill small organisms and can not intoxicate you.

Yeah the reason those product contain alcohol are not to get you drunk but because using alcohol kills bacteria that's why they don't use water in medicine so you probably can use those face products. They are like hand sanitiser and if you think about it, putting so gel on your face is not going to get you drunk lol

You should be more concerned about avoiding sharabis and people who drink everyday/frequently or you know that drink. Maybe its okay if its like a Friday thing at the end of a hard week of work but still there are alternatives. Avoid people who you know use drugs without reason for fun, eg not for war or after an hard day dont even contact them by mistake purposely avoid them as much as possible this includes reading writing of alcoholic people and seeing their movies, tv or music.

No prob. Unless you don't get full on drunk, there is no problem. Sikhs of old would drink one glass before sleep and in the morning they would be fine. Contrary to Khalibanis, there is no problem with alcohol in traditional Sikhi. Khalibanis are influenced by Islamic teachings
