A lot of Bollywood influenced Asian parents are under the delusion that big house, good private school, good grades = a good girl.

Loads think that this is what makes you happy: drugs, sex, alcohol, money, big house, cars and expensive clothes to show off with. It's so sad to see people think like that and when they reach these goals which they think will make them happy they realise that it was all a waste. The media, TV, Songs and famous people are to blame. Even in schools everything is focused on grades and success, there's been a loss of creativity 

We as a panth should do more parchar, we should tell people about everlasting happiness and how it is found only in God in Simran, Seva and Sangat - not trying to convert them, they can join Sikhi if they want.

In the old days there was a moral structure in society. Most people had shame. Someone who slept around was looked down at. Now it's celebrated and seen as an achievement.  Morals have disappeared so now there is not much that holds people back from doing these things. Its encouraged ... 

People were focused and had disapline now we are engrossed in whatever gives us pleasure, be it sex, drugs

Media and celebs I guess, but every decade there is also a big change in culture ...

I have no idea? Government? Super powerful people? Cosmetic giants ?  I think the whole thing is a system and works hand in hand.  It's us who get fooled by it ...
