Is democracy that bad?

I think even Hitler's party was democratically elected, and look what evil crap they got up too.

Democracy doesn't really mean anything. Someone will promise the earth to get elected, and then do whatever the f**k they want to do when they get in, and you can't do anything about it for the full term.  Tony Blair is the perfect example. An elected person from a Labour background who turned out to be a warmongering war criminal.

It is said that in democracy leader has to become like people. In kaliyug group of people is more or less always corrupt.

Is democracy a failure?

Bottom line is: can the majority of people be trusted to vote in the right people. It's obvious that isn't the case.

People vote for wrong reasons all the time, hordes of people are f**king idiots too and believe whatever horseshyte a politician they like the look of says. You can buy block votes. Look at Badal. Look at how stupidly some people would just keep voting in the same families in again and again whether the Gandhis or Kennedys.

Plus some pendufied type tribal people are probably better off under a strict, harsh autocrat leader than some democratically elected one.

Look at what democratically elected committees have done to the spiritual status of many Gurdwaras.
