SHIN-KIN is a martial art designed by Sikhs and taught to Sikhs,

officially since 1982. It is designed to help Sikhs strengthen themselves as a community by means of both free hand and weaponry combat. The key objective is to bring together the mind and the body through a combination of meditation and mental control that is practised using the teachings of Sikhi and a progressive fitness routine together with martial arts training.

Shin-Kin also teaches principles of Sikh philosophy and spirituality,

and tries to instil a feeling of pride into the Sikh youth of today. The

aim is to improve an individual's physical and mental awareness.

The name Shin-Kin is not an oriental name i.e. it comes from no

language, country or culture. It is simply a symbolic name that describes the basics of the system itself. SHIN meaning the mind and KIN the body, a combination of the two brings together a fully trained martial artist. It is known as the style of five rings, each ring depicts a position. It is for this reason that Shin-Kin is the most complete system.

PLEASE GO AND ENJOY!
