Sangat ji, please help me. Months ago I committed a transgression, which I plan to go pesh for. I made a mistake, though I was going through a really bad time, and am just about coming out of it now. However, I don't feel ready to go pesh until I get my jeevan strong enough - because afterwards, I don't want to be slipping up a lot. Since, I just can't get up for Amrit Vela. I always put my alarm on, sometimes I put it across the room- but I always turn it off and go back to sleep without a second thought. wjkkwjkf, I am a middle aged man just taken Amrit. I do nitnem daily but last night a bajar kurehit happened in my dream. I happened to be with another woman (unknown) . Guru Gobind Singh ji said not to share bed with other women, not even in dreams. What will happen to me? I am scared. I am sinned. Will Guru ever forgive me for this paap I have done? Do I have to go for peshi I am ashamed of myself.

sangat ji ! I need your help please :D So im taking amrit next week and im fully prepared EXCEPT ive always wanted to tie a dastaar. Its like my all time dream. Due to family restrictions I wont be able to tie a very large dastaar but I REALLY am literally dying to make my special day with maharaaj perfect and special Also this is probably my only easy opportunity to tie a dastaar, trying to persuade my parents at any other point might be pretty difficult :'( Does anyone know about any videos on tying small dastaars for females? Looking for a post i saw couple weeks ago, but cant find it. Think it had one reply, cant remember OP Name or replies name. Wonder if come remembers what the reply was. Basically it was along the lines of somebody asking he brought amrit jal from gurdwara for his daughter, andcan't remember if it tasted like fruit drink or in fruit drink bottle and was unsure whether to have it. I think the poster was unsure whether it was amrit, and the replyer explained something. Anybody? Thanks.

In Sikhi we are taught "Kirit Karni" making an honest living. I trade markets such as oil, gold, currencies, etc. and am profitable. I do not gamble as it's a complete business, and with proper risk control and system, it is very rewarding business. I was talking to my old economic teacher today and told him about the 3 Pillars of Sikhi and mentioned "Kirit Karni". He said trading is not of much an honest living. From the sangats view, do you think investing/trading is an honest living?

im a young Sikh girl and im wanting to take amrit. I am able to keep the rehat I.e. amritvela, kesh no meat etc but what im worried about is sometimes I feel that im not feeling the love for God. Sometimes im ever so enthusiastic but the a random moment comes when I think I hope im not just going for the outward look because I want o have a dastar too . Although I do my nitnem I do realise that my concentration is not aways very good. I honestly really REALLY do want to take this path because ei know its a million times better than every other path but I don't know why im getting these random thoughts. Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
