Brahmgyianis In India - Staying With Sants

Is there a list of current Mahapurakh ? Does anyone know who are truly brahmgyani? Also anyone know any true saints such as those that someone can go stay with for a bit to learn or do seva. I know there are always some around ithaasic gurwaras so one can stay do seva and be guided. How would one approach a sant to ask this? Could anyone tell us about deras such as rara sahib taksaal or nihang singhs where one could go? Plz no arguing about anything just advice. Aadmin plz could you move to correct section?

One day a man and a woman visited sahib shree guru gobind singh ji maharaaj.Guru sahib was very happily talking with both of them .And then maharaj ji told to prepare amrit . Hi everybody! I have this one question im fairly new to naam simran about a month ago i started meditating mostly everyday but the days i missed i felt very bad... how come tht feeling arises when i miss a day? Im not amritdhari or even keshdhari im just a normal another brwn guy! And just a side question are there diff stages for meditation and will i start seeing thing cuz currently i see alot of lights flashing and im always in bliss after meditating! Hi All I am a bit confused about 'feelings' Are feelings related to ego? How are we meant to feel if someone 'evil' dies e.g. Ashutosh Noormehl...do we be happy and celebrate an enemy of Sikhs has died? i feel conflicted...i feel like i should say a prayer for the soul and hope he is given the chance to 'redeem' his evils/sins? Surely an All Loving and knowing and Embracing God would be ok with this? Am I going against Sikh principles if I pray for our "enemy?" Are we not meant to ask for Srabat da bhalla? Wjkk, wjkf Sadh sangat ji, I wanted to raise this topic to see if it's just not me noticing that in many many gurdwareh across the uk, children in paticilar are able to run round freely without covering their heads in the presence of Shiri Guru Granth Marajh Ji. Surely parents should make sure their children have their heads covered as a child is simply innocent if they dont know, also we as parents make sure our children wear school uniforms, should we not insist that the rule should be implemented in the gurdwara too? I've been wearing a pagh for about 3 months now, I'm not a gursikh by any means. I still trim my beard but I have given up alcohol and going to clubs and bars. I feel the next step for me is to stop eating meat. I'm quite into fitness and building muscle so I consume quite a bit of protein. I eat chicken pretty much every day. I know I can get the protein from daal, sholay, kidney beans etc, but the problem is when I'm outside at work, I don't eat much meat at home. There really aren't that many options for vegeterians that want a substantial amount of protein in their food. Can anyone give me advice on how they beat eating meat and still ate nutritious food. Thanks.

hello everyone, I will keep this as short as possible, my punjabi is terrible, I can just about hold a conversation with somebody, i.e just say hello how are you, nothing more, I am coming more into sikhi and I cant understand anything in the gurdwara when there is katha going on , not a single thing, it is very frustating, I want to learn to speak punjabi fluently 100% so I can speak to other people have deep conversations and understand and do veechar on katha, I live in birmingham, is there any one who knows where I can do a crash course to speak punjabi fluently in short space of time, I am willing to pay, thank you Daljit sandhu

I just need some guidance please. I'm a manmukh Sikh. I do Simran etc often though (every day). Lately I kept having dreams with the Hindu Goddess Durga in them. I spoke to my Hindu friend about it and she said it usually means its warning you of something to do with fertility or death...she was correct...I found out a few weeks later. Now I'm having dreams with her again and I feel my attention going to her ... even though I still do Simran and turn to our Gurus all the time (many times throughout the day). Hi all. I've recently started feeling such a guilt and anger, because of things I do. I masturbate/watch porn, I am video game addict.... I really want to STOP doing these things, but I cant - I cant resist. Is there any way out? I've been meditating like year or so, but it havent helped me at all (I dont do it daily, just when Ill have "time"). Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -
