Need Help To Get Up At Amritvela

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Sangat Ji, I have been Amritdhari for around 9 yrs now and over the past few yrs i have alot trouble getting up in the mornings. Forget Amritvela, sometimes i even struggle to get up for work!!! I have no motivation at all to get up in the morning on time... What can i do? I set my alarm to get up in the morning but just dont seem to get out of bed. I have tried putting it across the room so i have to get out of bed but i simply get up, turn it off, go to the toilet then go back to bed... And then wake up late... WJKK WJKF I'm 16 and this's a question I struggle with. Becoming an amritdhari is the first step in Sikhi and everyone says you don't have to be perfect to take that first step. I really want to give my head to the Guru and be committed. I do nitnem, kirtan, Simran daily, I follow everything I'm supposed to and I'm always trying improve as a Sikh. Kaam is my only problem, I'm trying so hard to get rid of my habits, but they've been going on for a few years. Although, in the past few months I've significantly reduced my kaami actions. Someone said to me that the ultimate message of gurbani is to meditate on naam and that the general jist was har ka naam thiayo He also said that a gursikh doing simran is untouchable (i.e gursikh who does a life time of kirtan (who understands it too)) will not match a gursikh doing a lifetime of gurmantar.). Is this true? Should I give up kirtan and mool mantra jaap if so? Thank you

Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh, I recently got the daat of Amrit. I am pure vegetarian. Like I go to college and you know you have to eat outside sometimes. I ordered my veggie food today from this coffee shop. I told them to change gloves and she did. But she put that bagel on a same self where she put other food like eggs and stuff. So just wondering if its a big deal or no?

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
