need opinions about what time is right to get married. this is my opinion, but it is not entirely convincing n so i seek your advice: matured/adult amritdhari stable job responsible in good health also what criteria to exist between the potential couple? love understanding ? im finishing school very soon in a medical vocation and so a job is secured (all in waheguru hukam) but trying to make a checklist on my own accord to reflect on myself since parents not really into sikhi.

Hi I was fortunate to have kirpa over 10 years ago, I was practicing well but then it all just went pear shaped. Cutting a long story short I went from practicing rehat to being a complete sinner. I spent many years drinking, tried drugs, and also committed a huge amount of bad lustful actions. I went from one extreme to the other. Hello all, I want to fulfill my wish of being an Amritdhari one day and I am just practicing at this stage. I am in a relationship which I never actually wished to have. I feel it was my test from Waheguru Ji. Now its too late to turn back because I do have feelings for him. I regret letting him into my life everyday and I think "what if." Dear Sadh Sangat ji.. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh.... I just came from Gurudwara Sahib and saw an animated movie, "Bhai Taru Singh".. Its a great movie. In the movie they showed, how people (from all religions) used to goto sikhs, if they were in trouble.. But I have a qestion. Who should sikhs go to if they are in problem? Agar sikh hi aapni betiyaan (daughters) nu torture krn, ohna nu maaran (beat), ohna nu gallan (abuse) krn, then kis di help layee jave?? Dear Moderating Team, I have noticed from almost a month that new users seems to or continue to have problems with verifying their email addresses after registration. The problem seems to be that SS system is being or is not capable of sending verification emails out to users for some reasons (as far as i know.. not a web expert so you probably know better) but, anyways, I think it is of utmost importance that the team looks into this issue as it is hindering the new users from taking advantage of this great online Sikh community. Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it.

Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
