Sometimes i feel that asking God for Help is just futile because there may be no god cos had there been some god we would nt have had such disasters as the tsunamis that killed so many innocent people . hi sangat ji, i find that the more and more that i pray for kirpa...the more pain i feel...its been about a year, everyday i got to bed crying and recently it has gotten a lot worst....its feels like my world is just falling apart...i do paath and mahraj di kirpa try to concentrate hard on...after i do ardas and beg for kirpa but it feels like the more and more i do this i just suffer...i've never felt like this before...i didn't feel like this when i never used to do paath...now that i'm trying to "up" my paath (mahraj di kirpa) it feels like i see more pain in life (my life) i go to gurdwara sahib do shoe sewa (mahraj di kirpa) and beg and pray for forgivness and for ki…

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
