Hi, I am going to panjab. I was wondering if someone could give me the following information: 1. When do they do shastar darshan at akaal takht sahib? 2. Where is baba deep Singh's ji's khanda kept, I want to do darshan. I heard it is in Gurdwara tahla sahib in Amritsar. 3. Where is the khanda that was used in amrit ceremony of 1699? Hello, I wanted to ask everyone what they would do in my situation. I am still young and marriage is a long time a way but at the moment I have a boyfriend who I can say that I love but he is of a different caste. Neither of us are Amritdhari but we both bonded as best friends over Sikhi first. We had been talking for a while before we told each other our feelings. Daas has watched Jagowale Jatha's youtube videos of recent regarding the Dhumma / Dhadrianwale incident and honestly I'm so disappointed with what their coming out with.. They're claiming all sorts of claims, saying it Dhumma's claims were all in line with Maryada - honestly, Jagowale are one of the reasons I got into Sikhi and seeing their personal views and statements is seriously put me off. VJKK VJKF! I am new to Sikhi and do not have a 'jatha'. I understand there are various jathas that bless their sangat with Amrit, each with their interpretation of the rehat that the baptised should follow. For example, common difference include: Keski v Kes Some allow Amrit to be blessed on those without Amritdhari spouses Only consumption of food prepared by Amritdharis v not eating the 'leftovers' of non-amritdharis - the latter being not concerned with who prepared the food Consumption of tea / coffee v it being forbidden etc etc I have no jatha as mentioned below. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras.
