   Sorry, I'm just confused. Growing up as a Sikh in India, I never knew sikh women could wear dastaar, so now in America, I see some bibia wear the guru's crown and I am very happy, but why was I never told that bibia can wear a dastaar just like men?

   First of all i want 2 say i'm sorry if by asking for advice on this topic i have offended anyone. I am really misguided and shamed right now and need help on what to do. please dnt abandon me as i feel i have made a very big mistake. I recently started university and got to meet a lot of new and different people. I have uncut hair and beard all my life and all my life i have followed sikhi to my understanding, going gurdwara and helping out, not drinking alcohol and eating meat.    ok ive got this question for the people who are from a chamaar background..( sorry dnt mean to offend anyone by bringing up the caste thing but its the only way for me to get the answer............ i just wanted to know that now that you are into sikhi...do you still believe bhagat ravidass is a guru??? as i am from a chamaar background...however im AGAINST castes..since ive got into sikhi i see things from a different point of view etc........and to be honest i thought through and it made sence that bhagat ravidass cant be a guru as in gurbani its made clear who are the ten gurus...however i dnt get the concept that in the "guru ravidass gurdwara" they have guru granth …

    does any member of sangat know if there is any Gurdwara in Wolverhampton that has Amrit Vela Simran? i have been to sedgley st but they start wit Parkaash and straight onto nitnem bania. sukhmani sahib, asa ki vaar, ardaas, katha also i would have presumed that for a gurdwara of this size (terms of sangat population) there were more people at amritvela? is there anyone from wolverhampton who would be interested in starting simran sessions in the morning? perhaps approaching the committees? please share your views

    recently i went to the gurdwara and i saw a man doing his matha tek...but then he turned around and did like a little parnaam sort of thing to the sangat on both sides...if you get what i mean ..? ..its just that i never seen that before..does anyone know why they do that???
