What Would Be A Nice Religious Gift To Sent To My Godchild
by Guest Thoughtful Godfather- 3 replies

Hello everyone. I am hopeful that someone will be able to help me to figure out a nice baby gift for my godchild. She was born on the weekend. I am not a practicing Sikh but am a Catholic. And therefore I have no idea about the customs or practices of the Sikh faith. The father is my cousin and is a practicing catholic while the mother is a practicing Sikh. They are both very special to me. It should be noted that the mother is very religous and therefore I know that she would very much appreciate a gift that reflected the Sikh faith for her baby girl. Could someone help me figure out what would be a thoughtful (religious) gift to send? It should be noted that I am l…

i read this on another board. i'm a singh and i would personally go for my kirpan too. if that was me i would have had the kirpan at his throat and warned him to watch himself otherwise i'd find him and cut him in such way that he'd have nothing left ot expose. What would you do in same situation? http://www.tapoban.org/phorum/read.php?f=1&i=61871&t=61871 I nearly killed a man yesterday. And the weapon of choice was my kirpan. I'm a Singhnee with a foot-long Sri Sahib. I was riding my bike home around 8pm last night. It was pretty dark. I stopped at a red light in a dimly-lit intersection. A man, appearing to be homeless, crossed over from the opposite side o…

I've found out a friend of mine's sister who is a 17year old Sikh jatti from luton dating a 20year old paki guy. Their pics and details are on bebo and ratedesi social networking sites. Having heard about all these cases of paki boys using and abusing hindu/sikh girls then getting them to convert I feel I shud do something before this gal destorys her life and her parents life. What should i do?

If (hypothetically) your son or daughter was suffering from a painful illness that would eventually, slowly and painfully kill them? If they cried in pain every day and it was just getting worse and worse, knowing that soon the pain will be unbearable and your child will die. If they looked at you begging you to somehow stop the pain and end the misery. I guess my question here is, that while euthanasia is seen as wrong in pretty much all leading religions, do you think it's justified when done out of love? Would you really be able to see your child suffer day in and out, knowing their eventual death will be all the more painful? People say that it's not right because on…
