It is nice of you helping someone. but I would say to be careful. Make sure that someone does not take advantage of you. Ask yourself this: Are you sending them money only because they are relatives? Will you absolutely be doing same thing for any random person with genuine reason?

My suggestion would be to remove the dating. Dating is the western concept and not aligned with our lifestyle. Replace that word with something else.

I was watching this NDTV clip and came to know that as per current situation, we will see 5million souls to be departed due to this virus by August. Figure is based on deaths per population figure; same applied for US covid deaths. if Indian numbers to be considered, it will be 1 million deaths by August. They are reporting far less and no counting at all. We should pray for the well being and chardikala of Indians in India. Hope that they learn something from this and bring changes.

Our ten guru meditated and told us to naam jap on Waheguru Jees name and guru Nanak Dev ji described Akal purakh in our mool mantar sahib very clearly. We don’t need any human form nor we need any other physical form of help for our spiritual journey (which should be 24/7). symbols, paintings, idols, pictures, artefacts etc etc are all temporary and stays in this world and only our naam jap goes with soul.

For Sikhs it is only for decorative reasoning & no significance in any religious way. We do not believe putting any symbols or pictures on anything for the good omen. Our guru sahib jee taught us to be away from such Andhvishvaas.

Navratri - Sikhs got nothing to do with this Hindu Religious day. We don't have any significance attached to this date. We respect all other religious days but we don't celebrate them at all and those who do; either they got something to learn or has some dubious agenda.

Sikhs does not believe in such fasting thing or praying for certain number of days. This is what our guru sahib ji taught us to be away from such rituals. Our gurbani teaches us how to be in chardikala state 24/7. Our nitenem and daily schedule of amrit vela is the cure of everything. Yes, our folks are not following it but they should and that is the only way in our dharam to be free from social evils.

Everything happens in Waheguru jees hukam is truth. If we see anything wrong and it is against the natural process then it is also our dharam duty to stand against it. That is also granted by our waheguru’s hukam.

Sikh Americans owe their easy American dream freedom due to African Americans freedom struggle and brutal history of gaining equal rights. Defunding the police is the idea to hold them accountable. I don’t agree with defunding them but that is the pressure on them to bring change. 6 months basic training and you are police. Then there are police unions - a mafia group. - Mental Health needs to be maintained properly - Police should not be dispatched for mental health and domestic issues. Let them keep free for criminal cases. - Stop being politics into safety. A week ago fence was removed from capitol grounds upon protest from republicans and now we have one police died which fence was a good threat deterrent.
