  1. Do you want that in audio format? (mp3)
  2. I had a go in Illustrator anyway lol
  3. Haha, yeah that was one of the first things I did when I found the list. No singh, no kaur, nothing. Some of the comments flying about on the internet are pure comedy - "I could lose my job over this" - lol If you're not allowed to be a member (of any party mind you) then you deserve everything you get - Police officers/army
  4. As long as you think its fine then its ok as it is!
  5. I can create a vectorized one tomorrow if you like. Here's another but black instead
  6. How's this? Simple, I know but I'm guessing that's what you're after, judging by the t-series logo
  7. Hi Can you be more specific in regards to your requirements? I understand that you need the name, but anything else? colours? size? etc
  8. Anybody here that plays online? I bought my 360 about 3 weeks ago and I have the following games: PES2009 Halo 3 Saints Row 2 Let me know if you wanna play!
  9. Well, as of 1st December all Jet Airways flights from London Heathrow to Amritsar, will stop at Delhi for 2hrs. I guess that's the same for the return flight too. I hope they can come to a compromise (unlikely) as Air India will be the only direct flight left. And from what I always hear, it sucks.
  10. @Harjeet.Singh You can cut down the trees and plant new ones but how long does it take them to become fully grown trees? Ages. It's a no win situation either way. Cut down trees = animals die/lose trees Kill animals = affect population If I had to make the choice, I'd rather kill animals that won't have any detrimental effect on their population i.e. animals that breed often. But I don't understand how you can call both of them sins...
  11. Surely they could have done something better than creating another website that also promotes hate? Doesn't that just make them just as bad as the muslims?
  12. Congrats the Obama! Glad he won! Did any of you see McCain's closing speech? It was really good. If only he had come across that way in his campaigns then we might have been seeing a different result.
  13. jsu, interested in your way of tieing the joora. Got lost when you said this though: Can you please explain that bit again? Genuinely interested as to how others tie theres. I agree its difficult describing with words
  14. from the news coverage here in the uk it seems that obama is very confident in his speeches. he can speak out and get his point across, where as mccain does not look comfortable at all. mccains campaign has constantly made remarks about obama rather than focusing on what they will bring to goverment. obama has delivered his points and avoided getting into any of this. just last night they showed mccain on a comedy chat show cracking 'jokes'. he just seems desperate but deep inside i think he knows its over. to me obama looks the better candidate but we'll see in a few days. hi, can you please elaborate?

  16. from a non-american view i think he will do the country no good at all. he is george bush Mk.II from what i see. sarah palin is even worse. if he becomes president and he dies she is the next president then right? if so i fear for the world
  17. try to tie your joora on your matha so that its pointing outwards. if it is sticking out too much, press it down to flatten it..works for me lol
  18. My post was merely a reply to your post, JaGGaJaTT - Nothing personal! What I was trying to point out was that if there was a free for all to go inside the room, people that not necessarily under the influence of alcohol/drugs, but users, would be able to go in there too. Personally, I wouldn't want that. We already have people come to our local Gurdwara with obvious influence and nothing gets done about it even though there are signs put up Put it this way, everybody gets darshan of the room each wall has a door for you to view inside. The room is a small square enclosure with Guru Ji's kalgi, shastar, guns etc in the middle. I don't know what is under the ramala etc....thats for others to decide! Sangat is literally 1-2feet away from the middle of the room and get to do their matha tekna. Everything inside is washed daily and is kept clean. It would be near impossible to 'police' the room with delicate things that could be easily damaged. You just have to go there for yourself and see how it all operates. To be honest, I felt the same way as you before I went - now I understand why it is great the way it is. I wanna go back already The jathedar is a fantasic sevadar and absolutely the right choice. I think he has been doing seva there now for 8 years or so. Doing what he does takes a lot of dedication, and he has sacrificed everything for it. He only gets 2-3 hour sleep every single day before waking up and heading to sachkhand and doing seva. At the end of the day, somebody has to do the seva, and he hasn't stepped a foot wrong yet
  19. Glad it went well for you! I take pics for the same reason as you really. Click the link in my sig below and that'll take you to some of my Gurdwara photos. I'll be uploading more soon. I have loads more to be uploaded yet, but its just that I want to upload every new pic along with my blog entries. I'm posting blog entries about my gurdwara journeys in India you see! This is the only sikh forum I've used singhson
  20. When you take amrit do they say you're not allowed to? You're not drinking/inhaling so what is the problem?
  21. You could try and scrape as much prashad off as you can and put it to one side. Don't go to extreme lengths though..
  22. Love it. Celebrating with 21st century langar  The amount of seva going on is amazing. I believe this is the same clip that I watched on the TV the other day (although not all of it). A baba ji with long dari said that do all the seva you can do, as most of us won't be seeing 400 years celebrations:)
  23. I went to Sri Hazoor Sahib in August. These stories are around because people believe them. Thing is, go there for yourself and you will see it all. Guru Gobind Singh Ji doesn't do the ishnaan. Jathedar ji is inside the room doing it. Another baba ji collects the water from the godavri river. You must see this if you go there, its really cool. It's really difficult keeping up with the baba ji lol. I believe it is perfectly fine the way it is. If anybody was allowed in there, it would lose its 'specialness'. There are druggys/alcoholics that go to Gurdwaras, would you want them in there? Jathedar Kulwant Singh Ji is a very special and lucky person. He totally deserves to be doing the seva he is doing. The guy is truly devoted and is truly blessed. He has no contact with the outside world other than Sri Hazoor Sahib. He is a remarkable Sikh, somebody Guru Gobind Singh Ji would be proud of. Even if the lady did go in (with good intentions of course) why would she get sick? Why would Guru ji do that to her? Why is it funny that only one person can go in? Go there for yourself and you'd see for yourself why it is absolutely fine the way it is. The room is kept in immaculate condition, thanks to the jathedar. It wouldn't be like that if it was free for all. Plus there is hardly any room in there when you consider the sangat that visits daily. There is a rush of sangat just to do matha tekhna when the doors open. I hesitate to think about what would happen if sangat was allowed inside... As for whether the room is where Guru ji 'jyoti jot samaye' - I think this is a question that should be posed to the jathedar. I personally believe, as does one of the sevadars (elderly) that accompany jathedar ji, that the room is where (I quote) "Guru Gobind Singh Ji left his physical body".
