well i know loads of sikhs who donate blood including myself so wouldnt organ donation be the same

very true as alot of the people who carry out such acts of violence are either to ignorant to read up on Sikhi as they see all indians as Pakis and others who are just like hooligans at a football match where they just follow one guy like a sheep not knowing the real truth behind what they are doing.

I cant see why not i think it would be great to be able to potentially save someones life but im not sure if it is against sikhi or noit if anyone knows it would be interesting to find out

yeh thats what iwas told that nihangs go the other way spo their shasthar is facing guru ji instead of away from guru ji but there could be another reason

I can understand wot u r going through fully. My best friend had really bad facial hair and was diagnosed with something cant remember the name, but it was genetic. The doctor told her to take the pill she is Amrit dharii and told the doctor that no as she did not want to take the pill at the age of 16. It wasa really hard time for her as she had grown upo in a sikh orientated family and allways went to all the programs and stuff. She felt like she was trapped because she could not control it. She came to a point in her life wjhere it had got to her so much that it was all she would ever go on about. The thing is wen your not inthat poition urself you sort of feel sorry for them but forget about it later. But that person has toi live with it. She used to do kirtan loads of paath and everything. But she felt so pressured the wierd thing was that she didntr feel pressured about the gore or society but she felt more pressured by the sikh people around her. She has now resorted to Electrolysis. After i read the post it just reminded me of her that without knowing it sometimes the sangat puts pressure on people aswell as society. She knows she did wrong by having electrolysis done but i think if she didnt have it done at that stage i dont think she would of stayed in sikhi any longer. Thank you for letting me share this story with the Sangat.

Manpreet singh is a really cool kirtanee he puts so much piaaar into all his kirtan, i remember he came last year and use to do asa di vaar at smethwick gurdwara i went once and his kirtan was still amazing even though it was only me and some other granthi listening that is wat u called chardi kalaa. luv his kirtan gutted this year he went bck to india 2 days after the smagam. :music:

Just like to ask sangat. I had my ipod a few months after they came out and its the non click wheel model. But it seems to have dissapeared i was just wonderin if anyone could help me its the 40GB Ipod one of the first ones just wonderin cuz its not evenon the Apple website @ thanks in advance
