It had remained on tradition to have path of Shri Akhand path Sahib on it. Giani Dayal Singh of patiala reached Gurdwara Rampur khera specially on this occassion. Druing the exchange of thoughts with Baba Ji, Giani Ji asked him, "At what time Shri Akhand Path Sahib is to be started and when will it be completed?" Baba Ji said politely, "We think to start at 8 A.M. and bhog ceremony shall start at 10 A.M." Giani Ji was highly religious and a devoted Gursikh. He said, "By doing this, the tradition of Akhand Path Sahib must be completed at the time, exactly it was started two days earlier." Babi Ji replied, "We take a bit more time for its completeion." Giani Ji again repeated his previous statement and said that it was not proper. Baba ji said, "O.K. Tomorrow morning we shall get it decided from the Great Guru about the completion of Akhand Path Sahib. Giani Ji agreed to it and expressed a great deal of joy over it thinking that it was the best thing. The next day, Shri Guru Granth Sahib was installed, Hukamnama (holy order) was taken and sometime was spent in the simran in the holy presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib. Then it was prayed in the feet of Emperor's "Emperor as, " O Master of the poor! Is it essential to complete the path of Shri Akhand Path Sahib in 48 hours? Is the tradition not changed if more or less time involved? Please do favour us and guide properly." After doing ardas, Baba Ji and other Singhs, sat in the presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. All had reverence and mental fear from within. They all wanted to have the holiest glimpses of the Great Guru if they could get it, due to the blessed should assembled there. But only those, who had the cleanest mental secreen, could get the holiest vision. Only Baba Ji, Giani Ji and one more Singh was blessed with this vision. Baba Ji told the sangat, the Great Guru has order that the tradition of Akhand Path Sahib is not fixed by him. It has been established by the Gursikhs themselves. The path should be done with devotion. The Granthi Singh should do it with love and regard. The sangat should listen to it with deep effection. Only then Akhand Path Sahib becomes fully useful. The time limit of 48 hours is not a ban, it may be increased or decreased. So the holy utterance was told to the sangat present there. it was felt with great joy that the confusion regarding time has been removed by the Great Guru himself. After Baba Ji got completed so many Akhand Paths even in 72 hours. Pathi Singhs (The readers of Gurbani) would do path loudly and the sangat listened patiently. Sometime Baba Ji specially instructed the devotees to do simran of "Waheguru", Gur-Mantra for at least two hours alongwith listening to Gurbani. vwihgurU jI kw Kwlsw! vwihgurU jI kI &iqh!! this happened around 12-1 in the morning. there were about 20 singhs standing at one side of dixie gurdwara outside. the people that grabbed the golak took it out the side door to the other side of the gurdwara, cracked it open and took all the bills. left all the change. and then left the golak there. a couple cars went out looking for the car. we found nothing. but then 5 min after we were back, we saw a van driving around in the parking lot with white guys in it. and a singh said he saw white guys drive off at about the time the golak was stolen. we went chasing those guys with 3 cars. they drove into a police station. the police said they would investigate. those guys were part of the cleaning service for the gurdwara. as far as i know, the committee was called and they said the cameras were running. dont know what happened with that tho. vwihgurU jI kw Kwlsw! vwihgurU jI kI &iqh!!
