A Crown prosecutor is denying a report that a deal was offered to convicted Air India bomb maker Inderjit Singh Reyat for his co-operation in the continuing investigation of the bombing. Reyat is serving a five-year sentence after pleading guilty for his role in acquiring materials to build the bomb that killed 329 people on board the June 22, 1985, flight. His sentence ends Feb. 9. He previously served a 10-year sentence after he was convicted in 1991 of two counts of manslaughter for making the bomb that exploded the same day at Tokyo's Narita Airport, killing two baggage handlers. He also faces perjury charges for his testimony in the 2005 trial in which Ripudaman Singh Malik and Ajaib Singh Bagri were acquitted of murder and conspiracy charges in the bombing But Crown prosecutor Len Doust said the media report, which claimed Reyat would be offered a reduced sentence on his perjury charges, was "totally false." Doust said there is no deal and no offer of a deal. Doust said they are going to trial on Feb. 4. In the 2005 trial, Reyat testified that he couldn't remember anything about the alleged conspirators. Doust, who was the prosecutor, moved to treat him as a hostile witness and called his testimony "a pack of lies." Reyat is the only person to be convicted in connection with the bombings.

Namstang jeeo, even if Inderjit Singh Reyat made the bomb, it wasnt suppose to used to blow a plane up killing 331 innocent lives. This crisis was all in the hands of the Indian Goverment, they organised all this because the khalistan movement was high then and lots of people were supporting it in all countries. Namstang even if u think Parmer or Reyat are terroist and did wrong in kill innocent people, if they were behind the attacks, they will be truely be judged in Dharamraaj's court and be punished. Only waheguroo jee can judge who is good or bad.
