  1. i know this is an old post, but Dhan Dhan Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj went to Sachkhand in 1943, however, giani ji is saying here 1946. Why the discrepency? Excellent katha by Giani Ji (as usual, goes without saying), and excellent veechar by namastang ji.
  2. I believe Suleman shares his birthday with Dhan Dhan Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj, making it his 42nd birthday
  3. Many congratulations to the Sangat on the 105th Janam Divas of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Maharaj (Rara Sahib).
  4. Please can you provide an updated link to the katha? Also, I know this is an old post, but can you specify exactly where? Does Sant Ji actually say they are having darshan?
  5. Can Sant Ji please tell us something about Srimaan 108 Naabh Kanwal Raja Sahib Ji (Sant Baba Bhagwan Das Ji) and their successor Sant Baba Preetam Das Ji? Is their any successor now? Did either of them ever take Khande Di Pahul? And can they also tell us a little something on Bhagwan Bilaas? Also, why were they referred to as "Nabh Kanwal" Raja Sahib Ji? N30S1NGH Ji, if you need any clarification on any of my questions please let me know.. Thanks
  6. Are there any methods Sant Ji can tell us to help increase concentration while doing paathh / Simran?
  7. Please can you concentrate on this portion of the question more? Thanks
  8. Yes, I found the old link, they have been answered previously thanks. However, for those other 3 that have not, please can you as Sant Ji, as I have been asked those questions but cannot seem to come up with a definitive answer. Also, are the 5 khands in JapJi sahib ji actual places, a state of mind (avasthha), or both?
  9. Here are some questions I have been asked, but haven't been able to come up with a definitive or proper well-rounded answer: -What if an Amritdhari does not know or is unsure they have committed a kurehit (e.g. accidently/unknowingly eaten meat, for arguments sake playing with scissors and it has come really close to their beard and they realise afterwards but are unsure if any rom has been cut, possibly drank coke and not sure if there was a hint of alcohol etc.)? Would this person need to retake amrit? Would they die a bemukh? -What if a person is not an Amritdhari Gursikh, can they still attain Sach Khand? Or will they forever be subject to their karam? -Is doing paathh the same as naam simran? -If someone has done nindiya of a sant, but regrets it afterwards will they still go to hell (as per Bhagat Ravidas Ji Baani in Raag Gond)? -In the diary of Sant Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib, he talks of the 4 types of tyag, the 3rd being Sargun Saroop Hari da tyag. However, Nanaksar is based on Sargun Upaasnaa. Please can Sant Ji clarify this? I know they are a lot of questions (there may be more), but I would be very grateful if Sant Ji could answer them.
  10. I'm sorry, but Thats just a load of rubbish. These sorts of statements are, unfortunately, a testiment to the ultra anti-hindu / hindu-phobic mentality that exists today. The Faridkot Teeka is used by all puraatan Sampardas. And, as I said before, one of the most learned katha-vachak brahmgiani of the past century, Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji used to read this teeka.
  11. Is Dharna Kachi Bani? No. Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Rara Sahib), Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Kaleran Wale), Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji (Mastuana Wale) etc All used to sing Dharna. It's just an easier way to understand the meanings of Bani
  12. There is absolutely no problem with it, problem is with modern narrow-minded puritanical thinking. Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji used to read from it, as did all the Puraatan Taksali Mahapursh. All puraatan Sampardaas accept it.
  13. Having done Gatka for a long time before moving onto SV, I can honestly say that Gatka can not be the real SV taught by our Guru's. No disrespect to the people who taught me or my fellow students. In fact, they were very nice people. Even when I meet them nowadays, I still show them respect. However, twirling your stick/sword/axe/spear etc in a figure of 8 does not help you defend in a real war situation. After constantly questioning my seniors about pantra, strategy, history etc. even they eventually had to admit that Gatka is not the real SV. A simple question was : "There are so many different types of swords, why spin them around in exactly the same way? Surely the technique would differ." The one that made me laugh was when I was told: "You can hit twice in one go. That's cheating. In the tournament, you would be disqualified." I don't care about a tournament, I care about real life. I can honestly say that I learnt more in one lesson of SV than all my lessons of Gatka put together. Ironically, some of my seniors have quit gatka to start SV (you know who you are)...
  14. Sant Giani Mohan Singh Ji BhindranWale is in Gurdwara Akhand Prakaash, Bhindran (Moga, Panjab). They do darshan once a day of Sahib Sri Gur Granthh Sahib Ji Maharaj, and then go into their bhora sahib for the rest of the day. They only do Kathha on Sangrand. If you do go to Gurdwara Akhand Prakaash, be sure to get a nitnem gutka from them, as it is the most shudh gutka available. Has anyone had darshan of Sant Ji? If so, please share experiences, bachan etc.
  15. I second, third, fourth and fifth that! Anyone got a logical reply (operative word: logical)?
  16. Very excellent. Makes perfect sense
  17. Makes perfect sense. A very nice Article
