  4. Saadh Sangat Ji, Many Gurmukhs have come on this Earth and many are to come, no doubt. At this present time, Maharaj will undoubtely send a Gurmukh role model down to awaken the Panth. However, there are many many MANY Amolak Heerai in the sangat who insist on staying Gupt because of their extreme nimarta, Guru Sahib will make these Gurmukhs known too and they will wake the Khalsa Panth out of it's DEEP slumber.

  8. We should mould our lives to be like Gurmukhs of the Panth such as Lt. Baba Takhur Singh Ji. Many Many Heerai of the Panth have passed away to Sachkhand this year and many more are to pass away...let this be a sign for the Panth to wake up! Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  9. Jedi, Maharaj says 'Kaljug Meh Keertan Pardhaana' - In the dark age of Kaljuga Keertan is the highest. So, if you sing the praises of the almighty Guru then you yourself will be inspired back into Sikhi, because all you will feel is Love for the Guru. Old Spools from 1960 on AKJ.ORG are full of love for Vaheguru. I hope Maharaj does Kirpa on you and blesses you with Sikhi. What you are going through at the moment is an obvious test from Guru to see if you remember him. This Keertan was performed in Bhai Randhir Singhs time. One year before his passing away. 1960's Old Spools
  10. The only way we can go forward to tackle Niddar and his Nakli Nihangs is by working together, when all jathas start working together they can work wonders. Niddar obviously knows that what he is doing is wrong otherwise he would not put so many challenges down (debates). Indeed someone should actually check whether he has been given a name under the Buddha Dal or if he is just doing it through his own will. The tactics these Nakli Nihangs have to subdue the innocent youth into wrongdoings are very crafty indeed. Their talks are well read and projected, the talks are always advertised well in advance. If these phoney people can do this, then I cannot understand why the Panth at whole cannot get to the youth and attract people into Sikhi. Indeed, many people are starting to slowly accept Sikhi on a wide scale in the West. Many have started growing Kes and taking interest in Keertan, Rehat and are making general advancements in Sikhi. These are all extremely good signs for the Future. At the end of the day the future of Sikhi lies in the hands of the next genereation, obviously Sikhi will always be here and Khalsa will do Raj, but the question is when, the answer is when the Khalsa starts practising True Rehat and starts doing Naam Japna. Our ardaas is that may we all rise together in unison and go as one fist into these Panthic Dushsts, just like the Singhs in 1978 did against the Nakli Nirankaris.
  11. Wearing any of the Panj Kakkar does not serve as a violation of Gurmat Rehat Maryada. If we look back, we will see that Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji, a mahaan Gurmukh of the Panth practised his full rehat for a full five Years before being Blessed with Amrit. This includes the wearing of the Panj Kakkar, Orange Keski (Traditionally), Wooden Kangha, White Kacherra, Sarbloh Ka Kara and a Sarbloh Di Kirpan. So, it does not really violate Gurmat Maryada in any way by wearing the Panj Kakkar. Infact it is better so as Guru Gobind Singh Sahib says he loves Rehat More Than The Ordinary 'Sikh'. By wearing these Panj Kakkar we serve the True Guru and he showers his blessings on us. Like Guru Gobind Singh say, as long as the Khalsa stays distinct So will I shower my Blessings on them. However, looking at the disadvantages. It is widely accepted that all wear Kara, whether it be a person with Cut Hair or what not, but for some odd reason Panjabis do not accept it that we can also wear a Kirpan in order to prepare for that Blessed day of become Gursikh. Another disadvantage is that it can bring Ego, this is the main thing we should worry about when travelling on the Path of a Gurmukh. Because one can very easily fall from the lofty heights of spirituallity into Nothing just by getting Ego - such is the power of Maya. On the whole the Advantages very much outweigh the Disadvantages, just one advantage out weighs all the disadvantages put together, for example we get the blessings of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, what other advantage can we wish for? (rhetorical question) As for telling the teachers about this, if you think they will barr you from wearing it then it is better not to tell them, however if you feel they should know then perhaps it is sensible to do such. However, please do take into account that if you do get found out having a Kirpan on you by the teachers then they will not tolerate it at all. But, if you truly have solid faith in the Sikhi of Guru Nanak Sahib Ji, if you truly have faith in Guru Sahib then you will never get found out, not even an iota of doubt exists their in my mind, by having faith The eternal Guru will protect you. By looking at the jeevans of old time, puraatan Gursikhs we can learn alot on how to lead our own jeevan. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  12. What sort of websites would the sangat be wanting if a new one was to be made? i.e A specific 'topic' 'subject' in sikhi. Please Reply Back.

  15. Having a non-Amritdhari Akhand Paathee is contrary to the Gurmat way. If someone wanted to be an Akhand Paathee in the old time Jatha, they had to take Amrit. This is apparent in Chapter 2 of Rangley Sajjan, when Col. Piara Singh wanted Mahant Sunder Singh to do an Akhand Paath, even though he was an excellent Akhand Paathee, Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh did not let Mahant Sunder Singh read the Paath on account of he was not Amritdhari. AmritSanchaars were always held after Akhand Paaths in the old Jatha. Each abhilaakee had to sit through the Akhand Paath first and then they would be jugjed by the Panj Piaare on their selection. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  16. Telling prophecies is not something too big. Anyone can do it whatever religion they are, anything is possible with the mind. I.E Yogees can take their breath up to the Dasam Duaar, they can have access to it, but when they do it is shallow and they don't get vision divine. This is because their Swaas (breaths) are without the name of Vaheguru. Similarly anyone can reach the high lofty stages of riddhia siddhia etc, but it is all in vain because there is no name of Vaheguru their. It is all a shallow show. Anyone can tell prophecies once they reach a certain stage of Riddhia Siddhia, this is all possible with control of the mind, however we as Gurmukh do not give much notice to this because as Gurmukh we should be beyond this. As for Jesus being a Brahmgyanee, only a Brahmgyanee himself can know this, only God himself knows this. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  17. I went to one of his speeches a few weeks ago. And he said many good things about Sikhi on the whole. But their was a few points that I was rather concerned about. In his speech he mentioned that 'OM' was the sound that prevailed when the universe was made, he also stated that their is no point in pronouncing Ik Oankar Shudh. He believes that that is all rubbish, he said you say it like this - 'Ek Omkar'. But contrary to that he also said many good things. I.E Sikhs are no Hindus, but saying that he went on to talk about OM etc. Sikhs do not believe in Reincarnation, we believe in Transmigration. He also gave some good websites and stated that we should use the internet to derive some benefit i.e look at Gurbani websites. Some websites he gave was his own - www.iinet.net.au/~amarjit and the waheguroo website - www.waheguroo.com. He also said that Panjabis are too concerned with what they look like rather than what they look like from the inside, which I believe is a very valid point and had to take that upon board myself. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  18. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Yes, I have heard of him and listened to his parchaar. It is somewhat controversial, but on the whole ok.
  19. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Beloved Darcy, It is excellent that you have chosen the righteous and pure path of Sikhi. I really recommend that you read the link that 'JSingh' has given, it is very beneficial. Remember if you have any questions then the Sangat (congregation) on this site is ALWAYS ready to answer your questions, no matter how 'embarrasing' or 'stupid' they may seem to you, because we have all asked these questions, if you dont ask then you will never learn. Other Sikh forums you can visit are: AKJ FORUM TAPOBAN PHORUM
  20. This is sad news. Bhai Harbhajan Singh introduced thousands and thousands into the sikh fold. His legacy will be remembered by all. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
