  1. how the hell do you find out where the wii code is?
  2. hmm, 500,000 is roughly 2.5% of the current number of sikhs in the world. how many people are really willing to fight for khalistan? and how many of them know martial arts/gatka let alone have military training? your right, there are questions we need to ask and resolve before we can take proper steps towards achieveing it. but i think that would be better off on another thread, as we should try and concentrate on remembrance of 84 in this thread.
  3. :LOLz: :LOLz: :LOLz: :LOLz: :LOLz: :LOLz: :LOLz: :LOLz: :LOLz: lol, damn the RSS. if anyone agrees with what they preach after reading this, they should go and drink some 'Bovine Urine' just to show how much they really agree with them.
  4. *sigh* every time i read something like that it puts all the other problems in perspective. i just dont know what to say. maybe some canadian sikhs need to form some kind of organisation to protect those who come to canada like that woman. and take care of your community too. what a world we live in.
  5. no one cares what you used to be, it doesnt mean your right, just that you never got it properly in the first place. if i killed your mother, would you let it go 25 years later? in 84 they stormed OUR HOLIEST SHRINE and KILLED OUR GURU (look at the pictures of the burnt sggs) AND KILLED OUR SANT. and you want to move on? whats to stop it happening next time? if the hindustanis want to do it again, will saying your not a khalistani save any sikh? of course not. and have you even asked every sikh in e.punjab? or are you just saying what the politicians over there say? no other nation would forget 84 if it happened to them. imagine if the vatican/st. pauls cathedral was attacked by taliban/al-qaeda, or the yanks bombed mecca, would they forget? no they wouldnt. do you want to go down in history as the first 3 generations of sikhs who were beaten and saw there relgion destroyed? we have been on a 150 year losing streak. we lost the anglo-sikh wars, we lost west punjab in partition, haryana was removed and now sikhs are in the e.punjab ghetto. then 84. how much more can we give up? we've been beaten from pillar to post, and you now want to forget 84? what next, should we all act like dumb sardar bollywood stereotypes? if you dont want to do anything, then dont, your opinion is just that .... YOURS - not mine.
  6. omg you hijacked my channel! and you gave me 3 stars! man so this is what cyberbullying feels like lol.

  7. ha, i do get a little carried away sometimes :D _oh_OLD:
  8. but i was told Guru Arjan Dev Ji was the first guru to acknowledge bhagat kabir, and to mention his poems/thoughts. so if he was talking about him he would quote some of his views. as for the shabad, i still dont think it means sikhs should believe that adam and eve populated the earth.
  9. Those words are from bhagat Kabir, so thats why it mentions adam, but i dont think that sikhs believe in the adam and eve story.
  10. come on guys, i'm sure everyone will say the same about their faith not having enough airtime on that show as it only gives each one 5-10 minutes. and you cant blame him for his first impressions or acting like outsiders do. anyway with the sikh channel we can make all the programmes we want so its not all bad.
  11. he lives in reading!!! thats just down the road from my grandad's town. i'll phone him and get him to sort this guy out. mind you that video needed subtitles, i couldnt understand much apart from 'donkey khalsa, donkey khalsa'.
  12. hindustanis whine about everything. some of them even tried to get slumdog millionaire banned. when it comes to democracy or just shouting loudest, they will win hands down. and the group above advocates the RSS as a reasonable group. its beyond a joke. (
  13. Ja, du ist mein Fuhrer. Sieg Heil! Seriously though, how the hell would you get it banned? Strict parents cause their children to rebel or to turn into nutters. But if you are too liberal (i.e. you dont care about your kids) then that is just opening the door to trouble. Try and be reasonable, but if the kids make such choices just kick them out the house, thats what my parents used to say to me.
  14. Yehh but its turned in2 a tradition now lol. we cant just abandonn it. It does anger them though lol lol, ok its a tradition but i think there are better things to do, and reasons not to do it. Like the goreh who see it will automatically think of what the arabs do and put us in the same box. Promoting justice for 84 and Khalistan involves having good public relations and getting then on our side. Also, when i see musis burning american/israeli flags it just looks pathetic. they know if they take up arms that they will get slaughtered. they also know they dont have the education/institutions to fight the west. so they burn flags and make a song-and-dance about, before going home and doing some armchair whining. What we should do is get a whole load of indian flags and cover them in red paint (i.e. to look like blood). also get people to put red handprints on the flags. now that is an image that would be more effective rather than the usual one the media likes (a singh burning a flag). also, if you want to piss them off, get giant flags and put them across puddles (it is britain after all!) and then walk all over them. now that would be amusing. while were talking about flags, who is going to bring a khalistani flag?
  15. anyway how close are we to the million mark?
  16. i have to say flag burning is pretty pointless. like come on guys they're hindustan, for every one we burn some kid in a sweatshop will produce another 100.
  17. an obvious way around having someone play any of the gurus is just to have CGI representation. all the rest of the ideas are good.
  18. the 12 o' clock joke refers to problems the sikhs had with the east india trading company in lahore. but if someone does say one to you, just respond with the information above about the rescuing of hindu women from their captors.
  19. exactly. why dont people try to emulate Dr Narinder Singh Kapany or the other good ones.
  20. we choose our rolemodels, they dont choose us. when i gave that link i didnt say every sikh would find every person on that site their rolemodel. rather than looking for one's that arent up to you're obviously high standards, try to look for one whose success/lifestyle you wish to emulate. thats if your looking for a role-model. now that you brought it up, could you elaborate why the two you mentioned are bad rolemodels?
  21. right ok teji, i see what your saying, they shouldnt have shown those pictures as it could give the wrong idea to some people. in britain the sikh community often has to deal with what some call 'sell-outs' (the lady who did that play in b'ham/the guy who wrote that book about how crap growing up as a sikh is last year etc etc). but we also have many good 'role-models', if the community needs them: http://www.sikhtruth.com/ also, if going on oprah is a big thing, maybe you should try and acheive what that guy has, but keep the symbols of your faith. then you can go on the show and help people to see the message that you want to put across to the masses.
