  1. sabb sikhan ko hukam hai Guru maneyo Granth.... hmmm, the plural of Granth in punjabi/gurmukhi is also Granth. more than one. sabb sikhan ko hukam hai Guru maneyo Granth. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Aadh Guru Darbar, Sri Dasam Guru Dranth Sahib Ji Dasam Guru Darbar, Sri Sarbloh Guru Granth Shahib Ji Sarbloh Guru Darbar. Guru Hai Baani. Sri Dasam Granth is Guru Ji's Baani, and therefore Guru. Only the Guru can give Gurgadhi correct? the Khalsa is the 12th form of Guru. so the Guru Khalsa (Buddha Dal) has give Gurgadhi to all 3 Granth (notice i wrote Granth, not Granth'S'). So there is your hukam, and the 3 Granth as the single embodiment of Guru.

  3. baani is not more or less powerful in either form, it retains the same infinite shakti. but in kirtan form, the shakti is there only when baani is sung in raag. when not in raag it is like mixing amrit with vodka.
  4. dont be so mentally weak that saying sorry will disturb you. it wont affect your jeevan at all. when saying sorry, no one is above or below the other, if they think that, then they are of low spiritual standing. say sorry to your massar, he is older than you. even if you dont mean it, because if you dont have the mentall capacity or budhi to show respect and nimarta to someone on level with you parents, then you have proven that you are moorakh. yes he might have been wrong at what he said, but you are in no position to speak to him about what he has done in the past. tell me, are you that weak that it will disturb you that much that your massar thinks that he is winning? why care what he or anyone else, even on this forum actually think? its between you and Parmatma. you know you are right so let him feel any little bit of false good that he wants. go and apologise, and tell him also that ou were not forced into apologising by your family.
  5. karah prashad degh, or sukhnidaan shaheedi degh?
  6. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is Nirankar Rabb Vaheguru Ji Himself. so you dont point your feet towards Him. The kabba is a made by the cowboy builders....even forgot to put the windows in!!! So if God wants to use this method to illustrate His point, why are u arguing??
  7. 0:39. blatantly a kalgi with feather. and the string of beads going across the dastaar.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jocEc7ntoOc kalgi and a slap on the head!!!
  9. do you honestly think that india will give you your khalistan. read up on the economic status including import export industry of india. india cannot survive without punjab. punjab is the majority agricultural and industry pprovider to india, above total imort and export. if punjab has all this to export to india, dont you think punjab can be self sustaining??...ofcourse. but india cannot let that happen, otherwise there will occur the biggest economic deppresion in history. and the idiots in charge of punjab are right up the indian government's chittar. so congress controls punjab....hummmaaaaa!!! so india will not give up punjab, and cry and moan and lobby and protest all you wnat. because there will be no khalistan seperate state from india. btw, just join Buddha Dal. Buddha Dal is chalda vaheer punjva takht. just keep moving, dont ground yourself. spread like locust and spread sikhi with you.

  11. dont name him alexander. look to his future and think how he will have to cope with that name. there are 12 Guru Sahibaan, numerous bhagats and bhatts, and thethi karor devi/devte. choose a name with some meaning, or some connection to God. and some name that will give him a link to his faith and culture.
  12. firstly i have studied both arts, so i can talk "blab". ive done gatka and shastar vidiya, and know from practice that gatka is nothing compared to shastar vidiya. within 6-7 weeks at gatka (one lesson per week) i had easily understood how to use all the weapons they had. no disrespect to the people who taught me at all, but all it is, is spinning in a figure of eight. on the street if u dont have a stick, then gatka doest help much. and doesnt help AT ALL if you are unarmed and the opponent is armed. the khalsa army would be very closely packed wen going into battle. they would be shoulder to shoulder. now you start spinning your sword around, and you will behead your own soldiers around you. in Tvareek Guru Khalsa, written in the late 1800s there is a lot of mention on shastar vidiya, and how within 50 odd years, must of our own people will just believe it to be a myth. and you can see that on this forum. in both Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji and Sri Sarbloh Granth Sahib Ji, there are dipictions of battles and techniques and fighting forms which are set within shastar vidiya. none of the 3 gatka peantre have any major resemblace to any of the shastar vidiya fighting forms. how can gatka be such a highly skilled martial art when u can teach how to master the spinning of sticks and swords to children as young as 4 years old? ive even heard in MANY different gatka ardas, before the akhara begins, the words "sanoo shastar vidiya baksho". it is not "us" who are in our own world. rather it is "you" who is in "our" world, but u refuse to open your eyes and expand your mind. my apologise if i have offended you. Gurfateh.
  13. heres a good one i read on youtube. raaj karega khalsa, akhi rahe ka koi raaj karega khalistan, bhaman rahe no koi!!!
  14. No he isnt. but alot of peple dont like him even though they have NEVER met him. so they start rumours do bring him down.
  15. that is rubbish. guns were around at the time of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, so Guru Ji could have easily adopted them in place of the Miri Piri kirpans. kirpan is the form of Bhagouti, not an AK47 Pritham Bhagouti Simar Ke .....NOT....Pritham AK47 Simar Ke
  16. gatka is just a prancing dance, it doesn't really have any base in Sikhi either. Shastar Vidiya is the real stuff.
  17. to become a sikh there is only one thing you must do above all else before you start to walk forward on the path of sikhi....you must embrace death. until you do not embrace death, you will never reach 100%.
  18. out of respect you should use a silk cloth (if it isnt silk, do not worry , any clean cloth will do). make sure that this cloth is kept seperate and hand washed seperatly from other dirty clothes etc. wet the cloth, and then wring it 2 remove excess water, then wipe the handle first - TRY NOT TO TOUCH THE BLADE WITH YOUR HAND! clean into all grooves and design on the hand. then fold the cloth in half so that the side you just used to wipe the handle is in the inside. then wipe down the blade, starting towards the hilt striking down to the point of the blade. if the kirpan is "dirty", u can use a bit of fairy liquid to help shift the dirt. then get 2 clean tissues. put a bit of oil on one of the tissues. baby oil will be fine (no cooking oil ) then wipe the blade in the same manner, from the handle to the tip (this will prevent the build up of rust). then with the other tissue, wipe off all excess oil of the blade, so that there is a very thin layer of oil left on the blade. recite gurbaani whilst cleaning and sharpening shastar. shastar which are not worn often...try cleaning them maybe once a month or once every 2 months. at all other times keep them in the scabbard. but always clean your shastar if they are dirty...obviously. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh
  19. seva is doing your namaskar to the kirpan, as it is also your guru, and mahakaal avtar. only drwaing your kirpan from its scabbard for cleaning, sharpening, langar/prashad, battle practise, battle (to kill) cleaning and sharpening your kirpan regularly. keeping it on a manji sahib if and when you take it off. learning to use the kirpan (for battle) properly. which means you dont just spin it around aimlessly in a fight, but u know exactly how to use it as taught in Shastar Vidiya. (PLEASE NOTE: i am saying that Shastar Vidiya will teach how to use the kipran properly in battle, rather than in Gatka where it is spun around for show. This has nothing to do with my views in favour of Shastar Vidiya). not letting your kiran to touch the floor (e.g. when sitting in Darbar Sahib at a Gurdwara, place your kirpan on your lap, instead of by your side as it will come into contact with the floor). not touching your kirpan with joothe hath (unclean hand e.g. not washing your hands after eating, call of nature, cleaning work, etc). not letting anyone touch your kirpan with dirty hands and if you know that they smoke or take drugs etc. being able to use the kirpan if and when the situation arises. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Mahakaal Rakhvala.
  20. dont wear the kirpan if u do not know how to do its seva and if u do not know how to use it when needed to. and if u know that if a situation arises when u must use the kirpan, but your hand will freeze as soon as u touch the hilt, then the kirpan that u wear will be of no use to you, it will just be a showpiece item. my advise is to take your kirpan off, and do not wear it until the amrit sanchaar. if everyday u long to wear your kirpan, then u know that u will be ready to undertake the seva of the kirpan.
  21. what is good or bad is the perception of your consiousness on the situation at hand. it is like a coin, there is always a heads and always a tails to it. there is never bad and good, only right and wrong.
  22. i heard that saeen mian meer put the brick at a slight angle, then when the builders started building Darbar Sahib Ji, one of the builders just tapped the brick so so that it would be straight. then Guru Raam Daas Ji said to the builder that "if the brick had been left as it was put, then Darbar Sahib Ji would not ever come under attack."
  23. try finding a box for it if u can, for overnight. keep it indoors if u r sure it cant fly, because it will be cold if it cant get to its nest. and giv it dry bread and corn to eat. shhhh!! i dont want anyone to know that!
